How brave are yuh?

Anyone who watched SpongeBob Squarepants has probably seen this at some point.

This thread was made around that idea, where I ask both xenos and marines just how brave they think they really are.

A lot of players come and go, and with that, you see all kinds of players. Some of them are the sort that are too scared to get within 5 tiles of xenomorph drone, while others are perfectly willing to charge in screaming at a ravager that could easily rip their legs off if they wanted to. Not all bravery is smart, yes... But to have a brave heart in general is nice to have in some situations.

So, share your brave tales, and show us just how brave you think you are.. And then compare to others.
Sometimes, bravery comes from the most unlikely sources.

As for myself...

I am a lover of the bootknife, which has snagged me several crusher kills, a few queen kills/assist, and even at least one ravager. In general, I'm not afraid to use a bootknife if I see an opportunity.

I still recall the time as an SL where I held off a duo of crushers with but 2 sentries and my bootknife, which Xur described as "savage". A truly flattering comment that pushed me to use it more often, with some rewarding results.

I am somewhat less brave now because of how much xenos have gotten stronger and relying more on their huggers, with their chances of getting you and pulling you away very...high, but i still from time to time rush at that charger to shoot it point-blank with my buckshot or burst fire rifle, although before, back in pre-alpha i would even go as far as to knife Ravagers when they were close to me, or even chase after queen's, in general i was suicidal as hell, and i had much better momments because of that i think, especially when i would break out and kill the respective sentinels and drones and then chase after the Queen for revenge.

its okay if you are not robust and take out the whole hive with your bare hands, its okay to die against xenos, but please, for the love of god, dont hide in evac pods by the dozens for the whole fucking 23mins and get easily screeched at the last min while 4 marines went down fighting in briefing, or like that time 34 marines evac'd away from 4 xenos...its just bad

Sometimes when marines are holding a point at gun fire but xenos don't attack, I switch to my shotgun and scream Charge, running blindy to them, using harm intent on any xeno that comes by, I get hugged a lot yes, but I have encountered unlucky xenos with no huggers so they perish to my buckshot.

Also one time I point blanked the Queen to death with buckshot and ear muffs
