Lockie 'Furry' Hughes, your local source of annoyance, medicine and Will. E. Coyote engineering. Mostly medicine. Maybe annoyance.

The best way to balance is to play the game yourself, not rely on forum salt and a database of numbers.

Specifically, as a randomly named marine or xeno, not a CO that everyone knows, because that changes how the round is played by everyone.

If people know who you are in game and see you, they will react differently to what you do and what they will do when they see you/or know you can see them, if you are playing as random name, most will do what they usually do. (like when Xur get's captured, marines will try to rush to get him, and etc)

Can confirm, I have many times almost put the CO into a disposal bin, but then noticed it's Apop.

More like 'you are no longer a marine carrying multiple weapons and ammo-full backpack'

I actually for the first time though Apop made a good change, but he ran it back like a fucking retard. Back to being sonic because Apop still has no idea what the fuck he is doing.
Your daily reminder that this server is utterly shit for balance, and the hack Apop is intent on keeping it that way.

Says the crusader kek

The speed nerf is still there, you can't be sonic without removing armor.

I will say, With the tweaks, it's not nearly as bad. You can dodge some stuff now, be it spits, and even queen/crushers, occationally.

Personally, I'm fine with the speed it is at now. If you have to run for your life, might as well ditch armor and equipment to go faster.

Back to sanic speed full armed and armored marines, 10/10 design foresight.
this is 10/10 that apop very clearly turned tail and cucked by UPPING THE SPEED A LITTLE.

Spoilers:
1. I did no coding or editing with the speed nerf. I simply APPROVED it to happen during a discussion
2. The initial speed was thought to be too slow, and was updated right away (like an hour later)
3. It wasn't COMPILED for around 48 hours, as I thought that it was already compiled in (since I was sleeping when the second adjustments were made and both me and rahl compile updates)

I never 'turned tail" and reverted anything. It was already done, and I was posting in here, under the assumption that you were all bitching about the second adjustment, not the first, as I was gone for the days around the update visiting friends/family for the new year without direct access to my computer, and was operating mostly off my phone and my laptop.

Sorry Apop, some people aren't as educated as the average citizen.
Otherwise, they'd have seen I said "Keep it civil." as to keep the topic and discussion nice and respectful.
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.
