Hm, so I intended to make this post in staff chat but I guess I'll make it in public since I really wanted to make this post. To all who're unaware, I was removed from inactivity and it was rightfully so. Initially I was really drawn in by CM and I played it all the time but it lost a lot of that fun for me when I started modding. This post isn't about that though. I just wanted to leave on a good note and say goodbye to all the awesome staff that are on the team that make this game truly great.

Apop & Rahzel - I never really got to know you guys well but you guys were really fun to listen and play with. Especially Apop from the first CM game night. Rahzel, it was always fun watching you play BOB the medical borg during late nights or early mornings. I remember the first time I heard you guys on voice chat. During the first staff meeting someone mentioned that Rahzel sounded like what we thought Apop would sound like and vice versa. I thought that was hilarious.

Feweh - I have a tremendous amount of respect for you both because of the job you do on CM and the job you do in real life. Whenever I hear people talking about CM, they usually associate your name with bad admins or being banned. But over the months, I've seen you deal with the shitters and every time I hear those people talking about you, it only increases my respect for you. So, please keep banning those shitters so I can hear more stories about you.

Slc - I remember when you joined the team. At first I didn't like you because you were quick to ban and very ban happy but over time you kinda grew on me because you only meant well for the server. When you were promoted to Senior Mod, I knew without a doubt that you were the best possible person for it.

CoronelJones - It was fun to play Half Life RPG and its always fun watching you play CM. You have the power to transform a normal game of CM into a really fun one and thats without admin powers. You write the most entertaining MOTHER messages too. I think Allan said it well when he said you've been here longer than all of us and will be here longer. Well, I've only got one thing to say to that: Don't give up the record! Also thanks for the RPGs, I started an Iron Kingdom playthrough with my group last week.

Mauro - I never really got around to releasing the rest of the series did I? Sorry :[[ I'll miss you too. I really appreciate you watching my videos. Since no one ever watches them, lol.

Joshuu - Joshuu, you're probably the nicest guy I've ever met online and one of the best spriters I've ever met. I've always enjoyed your small stories of us in staff chat. I started playing in June and it was amazing to watch you gradually transform CM to what it is today with your sprites. Please make CM your canvas for your blurry master piece!

Noize - When I started playing everyone was still talking about Abby leaving and a missing CQC update. Since then, you've really picked up the banner by replacing her and doing the much needed bug fixes and updates. I hope you'll one day complete some of those suggestions you made before you became a dev and I hope to see you in other places as well.

Northecote & Nero Calvier - North, I'm sure I'll no doubt be still seeing you but to you both: I remember when the order was sent out to honey dick as many new mentors as possible and I approached you two. I don't know what made you guys finally join the team but I'm glad you guys did. North, my first memory of actually knowing your ckey and static was back when you played Sly Marbo. During an early morning round, I was a maint tech that was captured and you were playing the Queen. We had a fun LOOC conversation about how I ended up getting captured. If you don't remember, it was because of that booze vendor. Nero Calvier, you're the greatest medic/doctor on this server without a doubt in my opinion. I remember a round back on old ice colony when you made bodybags full of tricord pills. We were talking in mchat about how power gamey it was but when we knew it was you, we decided to look the other way and instead say "Good ol' Nero".

I think thats all I have to say. I'll probably play this game again in the future to see Joshuu's new sprites and how it transformed since I last saw it. Probably when everything is new again and my macros no longer work.

As for final thoughts: For all you new and current mods and mentors. Make sure to post regularly on slack chat and get to know everyone. Everyone on the team is really awesome including you. I dislike the new hiring policy where we're flooded with mods and mentors but its for the betterment of the server. On the flip side, it also makes you more expendable. I don't like that at all. To prevent that, make sure to build relationships so you're less expendable.
