Predator Application Denied
Now. I can understand that Feweh denied my Predator Application. It was nighttime and I didn't put much thought into it, and he doesn't know me. But one reason is because I have nothing but applications as my forum posts. I don't understand this, because I have better things to do than make posts on the Colonial Marines forum. Alas, there is nothing I can do... Other than wait for 3 months to role around so I can post the Updated Predator Application and then get accepted. Hopefully it pleases the God Tyrant Feweh.

Re: Predator Application Denied
Pretty sure if you looked at any app ever you'd notice they weigh heavily on whether or not you're active on the forums, it helps people know who you are and form an opinion on that and your in-game play
Garth Pawolski, or is it Powalski?

Not sure why you put this here, but if you need some advice let me lend it.
A, don't refer to Staff as tyrants. That doesn't get you anywhere with them, and most of the time they laugh at you for it.
B, The reason behind Predator being weighed on Forum activity, is because Predators are a heavy RP role, even if people don't agree on that they are. Predators can turn the tide of a round so quickly, you may not even know it while it's happening. So, to judge who's becoming a Predator, they like to know if you're a positive member of our community, one who's active, who's not a complete shitler, one who's not just going to use Predator to settle meta-grudges or valid-hunt.
All in all, Whitelists are meant for people who are decently known around, and who are contributing to the Project or to the community.

Me calling Feweh a tyrant was a joke.

Re: Predator Application Denied
Go look at all the accepted and denied applications.
Once you're done that, compare their activity and the numerous comments about being active on the forums and in general the community.
Your entire activity within this community is wanting something so far;
1. Post towards becoming a MOD
2. Post wanting to be predator
3. Post complaining about being denied for predator.
You have offered and done nothing for the community other than want positions of power and then complained when you didn't get said position.
Well done.

Well, fewehs response was 10/10
"In 100 years more we will be a story. In 200 years an epic period. In 500 years a medieval tale.
In 1,000 years a relic. In 5,000 years archaeological remains. In 10,000 years an ancient mystery.
In 20,000 years a legend like Atlantis. We are nothing. Life is so short and death so long. "

Re: Predator Application Denied
The deal with the predator role is that it can be incredibly overpowered when not restricted by its ruleset. One of the many ways we ensure that a player will follow the specified ruleset (also known as the Yautja 'Code of Honor') is by ensuring that them being banned from the role or banned from the server as a whole would mean a damn to them. If a player's main server is Aurora, Hippie, Goon, or any other server, they're potentially less inclined to ensure that they remain unbanned on our server. So by having a high forum post level, you show not only that you are committed to our community, and playerbase. You are also falling under the 'skin in the game' concept; where you've dedicated your time and energy to this server and therefore can be trusted with such a delicate role.
Let me know if there's anything you want re-explained.

I'm stressing way too hard about what to put here, so I'm just gonna leave it blank.... or....

Re: Predator Application Denied
Feweh sums up about what my response would've been. Making this thread digs the hole further, and it's unlikely that you'll be viewed very positively on future applications unless you get invested and become known as a good member of the community.

Agreed with Feweh. If it looks like you're just here for Pred you probably won't get it. We weight heavily on what the community thinks of you, and your involvement. If we just let any random dude be a Pred, the salt would be endless.
