the TL;DR
the TL;DR
- RP should continue even if the round ends
- To allow staff to finalize any investigations they have, and having attack logs popping up can be quite distracting

Re: Why is EORG banned?
One other simple reason that most people don't realize is that if EORG is allowed, admins can never organize post round events/RP related stuff because there would be chaos everywhere. I have witnessed this myself once, and sad to say, the EORGers never got their chance to be involved in the post-round event.

Re: Why is EORG banned?
allowing it kinda allows for the possibility of in-round grief to grow, "I can do it at the end of the round, therefore I should be able do it in round too".
Garth Pawolski, or is it Powalski?

Re: Why is EORG banned?
As others have remarked, EORG Is something that can Interfere with our inquiries. Also, a minimum of RP Is necessary, despite being currently at the end of a round. Proper organization Is at least required before making an event and EORG occasionally mess It up.

Re: Why is EORG banned?
End of the round gives people a chance to finish up some RP, give your fellow surviving marines a pat on the back or something. Becomes a bit distracting if the guy 10 meters behind you just start unloading AP bullets into someones head.

Personally i dont like spending 3 hours trying to survive just to get buckshotted, i also think this system slightly weeds out shitlers that think killing players for no reason is fun

Re: Why is EORG banned?
Main reason, usually?
You placed the best of you in the game you played, a lot of effort to win the round and make your character survive.
Then - even if the text says you won the round - your character dies on screen because someone else executed it...
...Most people would be very upset at this, hence it being described as "grief, in the end of a round".
Also it makes no sense in the role-play context at all. Why USCM Marines would kill their team mates after they managed to clean the colony of a xenomorph infestation?
(Actually? It would be far more effective to just lock all guns, injections, grenades, turrets, harm intention interactions and even supermatter fromblowing up after the round ends, with a simple condition check routine in the code - and still have in it an admin log routine to report who tried to round grief non-stop, but...)
