Today's round was cancer as soon as the fog was gone marines crossed the river and EVERYONE EVERYONE DIED OF FF there was like 30 marines near the river only 8 survived or even less this was the biggest ff in cm history everyone got crited by baldies with buckshot in the chest and ap bursts in the head im not even kiding. there was a guy who got shot by a baldie to crit i patched him up to 100% healthy as soon as that happend he got buckshoted and shot by a sub machine gun in the bag and then i got one shoted. aliens just watched.

One time both of my arms got shot of by a baldie with ap burst. And one time a baldie buckshoted his own SL and the sl was dragged off by xenos

Probably the time the aliens were in the storage domes, attacking south into the nexus. Marines were crammed into that tiny hallway that connected east nexus and storage, all vying for a shot at a nearby ravager like they do. I was one of those marines, and my helmet had been taken off by a hugger.

Meanwhile, there's a bald-ass marine wearing a headband, M4 on burst and loaded with AP, in the QM room left of that hallway. For whatever reason, he shoots ACROSS, straight into the marines in the hallway, when he had absolutely zero chance of hitting an alien.

Perfect shot. All three AP rounds connected with my head. I was decapitated instantly and permanently out of the round. This was just after we landed, too, so I was salty like never before and probably never again.

I remember a round about yesterday on ICE where we were suddenly ambushed by aliens while on the way to the elevator to the comms area. We were fending them off, me armed with a quickfire Pulse rifle and laying down suppression when some aliens fell into crit.

Seeing my LoS was clear for the most part, I tried to kill off the aliens before they were recovered by their friends, managing to get one of em. At the same time, however, someone who was RIGHT BEHIND ME (AKA a tile behind me) was so eager to get a kill that he didn't even pay attention at all to what was in front of him, and burstfired me in the ASS.

Damn well busted my foot that wanker did... Some people get tunnel vision the moment a xeno goes down, I swear...

A very early round in my CM career I was a survivor and accidentally shot another survivor in the chest with a miss-click. I RP'd it as being jumpy and having no fire arms training. I felt pretty bad since I never would have survived without their help. Luckily a minute later the marines showed up and we made it out.

Every time someone gives advice about using AP on burst aimed at the head as a joke, I'm sure there is a baldie watching that takes it to heart.

lemme tell you about FF Central, a place that has seen every form of FF known to men, its the north east tunnel on LV624 that leads to above pred temple, I have seen rifle FF, AP FF, point blank buckshot FF, SADAR FF, oh god grenade FF, and my favorite OB FF, I was on the receiving and giving end of it many times, NE tunnel is crazy as fuck

In the Battle of the Barrens, I was pushing some spitters. Suddenly I got charged by a crusher. No big deal. I had an entire squad behind me. I stood up and grabbed my rifle, only to immediately eattwo full AP bursts, one to the body, one to the head. I started pre-typing my deadchat salt, when a medic grabbed me. Was rescue at hand? That's when the crusher charged again and someone fired their underbarrel GL. As the fuse ticked down, the squad decided that the crusher really needed to die. An HE SADAR rocket hit the medic next to me, removing most of our limbs. The Crusher was stunned and downed under a hail of HE, as the grenade exploded. All of this in the space of about five seconds.

I had to step away from the keyboard after that.

Pushing Central Barrens as Delta under Xur's command. Push is going well, we are killing ayys left, right, and center. Crusher charges Xur, Xur goes down. I point and click. At the worst possible moment. Burst fire, Xur stands up. You can guess what happens.

I felt terrible about it since I almost FF'ed him about five min prior. He got into a tangle with two ayys in med dome surgery.

One time Harry Cowper stood up one tile away right as I was about to shoot a queen two tiles away after she screeched.
My gun was on burstfire with a burstfire assembly and a barrel charger and loaded with AP.

I've only FF'd with an AT rocket once but it was kinda sad.

My worst FF is when I had a gyro pulse rifle as a B18 spec loaded with AP. I knew it'd be a bad idea to be center so I always stayed 6 tiles above my squad mates leading them. Well, we stopped for a minute in the dorms (map was Ice) and as I was trying to put my gun away I clicked to early and fired three AP shots into a PFCs hand. Luckily I always aim for the hands and feet so it wasn't debilitating and we evaced him, but that is my worst

Went double AP smg, a hunter pounced on a guy and none of my shots hit the hunter, but they all hit the guy.

I was dragging a guy to safety, accidentally used him to tank some FF.

Five minutes later, he got hit by a Crusher while I was pulling him. Poor guy.

I will admit that I am dangerous to be around with a gyro, though the worst FF I have done was burst AP to a pounced marine.

Besides that, being the victim to FF. I was an SL, holding the line dramatically! A young runner ran past infront of me. The marine behind me took my head off with a slug.

Once I got FF'd into crit, then brought to surgery 5 separate times in one round. 3/5 of those times were sitting in the FOB away from the frontlines.

Getting shot with slugs is the worst thing there is. They break your bones without even trying, in one shot, and if you get shot twice, you better pray you're still able to keep kicking.

Sulaco assault, I dragged a marine into bridge to the doctor, and told her jokingly to "Kill this one painlessly". Of course the doctor didn't care about my sillyness, but PO was there too and he just went to the critted marine and killed him with buckshot.

As a bridge officer, Alpha squad dropped an OB on the old map near the medbay. They were getting fucked and the SL was yelling "FIRE THE OB DO IT NOW OH SHIT THEY'RE ON TOP OF US"

So, thinking I was saving them, I fired the orbital, offsets y +5 and X +5, and found out that I killed three marines and wounded atleast five others.
Turns out, the xenos retreated when another squad came in to help and they advanced without saying anything to command.
