tbh nobody should ever mix anime, CM, watchmojo and the assassination of austrian archduke Franz Ferdinand. It shouldn't happen.

Being a pred was fun though, and I really like nations rounds, so I'd love to see this again (maybe with no hellhounds or preds unless stuff stagnates, but with more ERTs that just function as more people.)

I say we have people spawn as random ERT's. (Excluding DS) They have to form up and create nations/tribes. At end game a DS is called in. Hilarity ensues.

I thought this was a good event. Event was calm, promoted RP and promoted everyone working as a group WHILE RP, everyone seemed to enjoy it and workout the tribes well enough.

The hellhounds were an interesting part, I liked how the predators were giving their hellhounds orders about where and who to attack, some did do fuck all whatever they wanted including suiciding into the nexus but overall was fun, cute and some good RP. Also in my opinion the preds lack of vox caster -plasma sphere made it a lot more engaging for everyone.

Last, there was a tribe that attempted to befriend a predator. They chatted the pred uip some then tried to make a deal of peace and cooperation, ALL without blowing its face off to steal its cool armor.

Awesome event.

So in total how many tribes were there? There was Nexus, Medical, Engineering and Robotics were the ones I knew of. Also I liked how the caves weren't really owned by anyone but the one time I went up there it was just all random people being bandits up there.

Had another pretty fun round and this time didn't join one of the big factions and found that it was really rather enjoyable. Set up with Cross, Val, Alex and Loc then Reno and Ed joined along with some other chaps, we setup up in the cabin and were trading, stealing and gathering resources and overall being peaceful, then DS was sent to kill us as one of the last tribes. It was a pretty fun round in cabin tribe.

Of all the times I ever played "Factions", this had probably been THE best game of factions I ever played.

At first, it started off the way I kinda expected it to: Trying to live peacefully with a focus on growing crops and helping the wounded... Then the Nexus faction attacked, broke nearly half the bones in my body during a sudden unjust raid, and I came out of it rather disheartened that I was going to be involved in what could be a long, bloody war.

Realizing that these people probably weren't going to take any prisoners, I decided to briefly leave my tribe to go scouting, my mind torn between either staying loyal to a doomed faction or maybe joining another faction. Whatever the case, I was at least going to get a little recon in to get a general idea on current politics.

Then, while scouting along the edge of the river, I discover the cabin-folk, a very small group of thankfully friendly folk who quickly won me over due to their peaceful nature and remote location, far from the wars that plagued the land and crippled my body. It was then that I went from Medbay Tribe Farmer to Cabin Tribe Smuggler, using my old connections with Medbay to smuggle medical supplies and food from under their noses. I wasn't entirely proud of it, but at the same time, I had to do what I could to survive and support my new home, so the risks were worth it.

After a number of misadventures (from being brutally mauled trying to protect two fellow cabinmates from being eaten, to a horrifying event of fleeing from other hounds trying to get to the Medbay Tribe to get medical attention, Wooki hauling me via rollerbed the whole way) involving loss, joy, horror and sadness, we managed to be pretty much the last stable tribe in the world, bonded by our trials and need for survival, willing to do considerably dangerous things to support one another... And our reward for all that?

A deathsquad, sent to burn down out little tribe. It was a very sad end to an otherwise rather intense and dramatic adventure, kinda bittersweet when you consider that of all the options, we chose to die together as friends instead of giving in to the overwatch and going at each other's throats simply because they told us to.

After all that, I feel very happy that I was able to be a part of that. It started out rough, but in the end, it was a very enjoyable adventure.

I really enjoyed both of the tribes rounds. The first round I didn't accomplish much, joined medical tribe and ended up dying. The second time was much more successful, having joined the RED TRIBE MENACE and successfully held off both the blue tribe and the dutch mercs from tablefort, as well as getting a few scraps in against one of the preds before finally succumbing outside of medbay.

I'm sad that we probably won't get another tribes round for a long time.

The last pred standing, and their horde of hellhounds.

Being a Red was incredibly amusing. That's all I've to say here. Torturing Dutch's was additionally entertaining*.

Playing as Red sure was interesting. At first we were really disjointed but eventually became a giant hammer and sickle.

See that dead merc in the top left? That is me. It was a fun round, we (mercs) RPed as Ronin who were looking for a new master. So we split up and went our separate ways, but we agreed on the Ronin Code of Honor. The Code stated that you must wear part of the old uniform, most just kept the boots but I kept the entire suit, and you may never harm another Ronin on the field of battle.

With a lot of the Ronin being quite capable it was nice to see a guaranteed friendly face when tribes would come together. Even at the end, when MOTHER threatened to bomb us, those of us remaining refused to kill fellow Ronin and targeted other members.

Leader of Kekistan and Kekistani people, i have to say this was great.

At the beginning we were but peaceful meme farmers, only working towards the greater good of kek himself.

But then the reds attacked, and are medbay allies called for help.

The 21st Kekistani Liberation Force was dispatched to eradicate the reds, and nexus peoples.

It was a complete success, the surviving Kekistani people then headed to their native lands, their people greeting them with open arms.

I was part of a relatively poor blue faction that had leadership woes after our self proclaimed leader abandoned us to become a robobro. We sacrificed Crossman to the great Ding Dong Bannu in the sky and then we went to seek help from medbay where we got into a minor scuffle and were beaten away with only two minor medkits gained from the medbay leader.
We headed back and a cheeky merchant asked if we'd like to trade and stole one of our medical supplies so I chased him off with a pulse rifle and returned to Blue Base. They went off to hunt the Reds at one point and I, disillusioned with our leadership decisions, decided to go off on my own sneaking around in the darkness avoiding Iron Bandits. I eventually stalked someone, completely unnoticed, whom I thought was a scavenger but turned out to be a medic tending to an SSD farmer in the river. I couldn't bring myself to kill them and take their supplies for my own.

I returned to blue base to hear fighting, two scavengers from Nexus tribes had found our nearly unguarded hoard and had slain the one man left behind. In the ensuing fire fight, I managed to kill one of them and mortally wound the other before I myself was killed. In the end, we all died and the Iron Bandits looted our gear a while after.

RIP blue tribe. Died too soon after the last warriors were flanked in the NE caves fight by the reds and their mercenaries.

Was glad to be a part of cabin tribe. I died early trying to save Reno alongside Wooki, managed to outrun the hellhounds, then got blasted to death by inc slugs by a murderboner from Nexus despite protests from a nearby faction member of "shooting that obvious fucking medic!".

I rolled full pacifist gear with not a single gun on me, so I couldn't have shot back even if I tried.

I took your body from nexus in a coffin and returned it back to the cabin so you came back to the cabin in the end :)

The most recent Tribes was pretty fun being in the wizard tribe holding out against Pmcs and accidentally finding out we were right next to the North west tribes armoury.

Oh, so you were the poor lass that gave her life to save me, huh?

Honestly, I felt a fair bit guilty after all that went down, considering that you lost your life trying to save a crippled man. Know that I respected the sacrifice, mate.

Was in the second round of this, part of the GLORIOUS GOD-KING TRIBE aka purple tribe aka purple hobos

We took down the false god Xur numerous times but the gods kept bringing him back...until he wasn't worth keeping the protection, after 2 fatal dragunov rounds and later a assassination, he finally died...after that the armada of PMC's came and started killing everyone, we were the last to fall.

Ask CoronelJones or anyone else for full details, but we preety much spend the entire round trying to kill Xur, who repeatedly avoided death after death, and even side-stepped a dragunov round he didin't know about at the last second.

Had to be one of the best rounds i played TBH.

I was also part of the purple tribe! I pumped three deagle rounds into Xur and killed two of his guards during the assasination attempt. We actually took his life but the gods revived him
