I dunno, about a week ago we set those up in engineering and they had no effects on us walking through them.
But I guess i'll test it again next time someone tries to set them up.

With dabbler on this one they did absolutely nothing, except eat the 02 last time I saw someone use them.

If I recall, they knock down and shock people who walk into them. Use a forcefield generator instead. Nothing can pass through it. One round, I set one up in Engineering at a decent size, and laughed at the aliens who gathered around me hissing.
