Everyone wants to carry a med kit to heal themselves. I can count 3 or 4 medics willing to do much more than throw inaprovaline or tramadol at you if you are injured and tell you to go to the sulaco. Most medics try to rush to the front of the line to shoot aliums, they should be in middle/back pulling facehuggers off, patching up slash wounds or friendly fire holes and shaking people awake who get neurotoxined/hugged. The medics we get stuck with will happily run past a downed/hugged marine to chase down a runner they have no hope of catching.

Course, Ward snag a hatchet if he can and Ghetto surgery a fellow marine back to health where applicable. Shame the combat knife can't be used for Ghetto.
Glass shard - scalpel, cable coil - hemostaps(bleeders), crowbar - retractor, hatchet - bonesaw, wirecutters - hemostaps (remove item), screwdriver - bone gel, wrench - bone setter, Lit Cigarette/Welder - Cautery. Ward will fix you up, but it won't be pretty and you probably want the Sulaco medic to cut you open and make sure Ward didn't drop a cigarette or shell casing inside of you. But hey, your arms not broken and the embryo was removed, so who can complain?

Or use medical non-expired anesthesia tanks filled up with 20% Oxygen for Air supply of the patient and 80 of Laughing Gas also known as Nitrous Oxide (N2O).
Ensure the patients health and nutrition aswell as water supply is ensured by inserting an IV Needle with Saline (SS13: Smash a Bottle of Water in it).
After that you should buckle the patient onto a Surgery Table and begin the standard operating proceedure with a Nurse that keeps track of the vital tracks.

Should the Event of Anemie occur, then take out the Saline and immediately begin to supply the patient with their blood type or the universal O- blood.

A qualified real medic needs following:
- Anesthesia Tanks and Medical Mask.
- A Surgery Kit with all Surgery Tools and Oxycydone/Sleep-Toxin for emergencies.
- A self-defense weapon, recommended is a M43 Service Pistol.
- Clean latex gloves, steirle masks and sterile wear.
- An advanced first-aid kit, toxin first-aid kit, oxygen first-aid kit, burn first-aid kit.
- Dexalin Plus, Tramadol, Sleep-Toxin, Tricordrazine, Dermaline, Rapid Clot (?).
