Your most salty moments here!
I think its safe to say that most of us ,at point or another, had a moment of saltiness on CM.
You can share your moments of saltiness or tell stories of when another player was salty here.

Probably when I was in medbay for a full hour, and one doctor did nothing except for spray space cleaner at blood in the halls and wander around.
"Memories can be vile. Repulsive little brutes, like children I suppose. But can we live without them? Memories are what our reason is based upon. If we can't face them, we deny reason itself! Although, why not? We aren't contractually tied down to rationality. There is no sanity clause. So when you find yourself locked down in an unpleasant train of thought, heading for the places in your past where the screaming is unbearable, remember: There's always madness. You can just step outside and close the door, and all those dreadful things that happened, you can lock them away. Madness... is an emergency exit."

Round ended thereafter.

Hand surgeries can be bugged if you use oxycodone on that limb, forcing you to amputate the hand. Either that, or there's genetic damage.fatalityfun wrote:medbay has only once made me salty

Re: Your most salty moments here!
I remember getting quite Salty when I was on Big Red, managed to roll a spec, and then decided "You know, I bet the Grenade Launcher would be great on this map!".
I was so dead wrong, and much disappointment and salt was had. I don't salt often, but when I do.. It is for good reason.
Another instance was due to an FPS update that made the game jerky and too fast, to the point that I couldn't enjoy myself at all. I was raging throughout as I struggled to fight red blurs with slow reaction times, and melee was pretty much impossible. It was the reason I decided to take a break from the game, although I'm hoping to come back this weekend now that I heard that the update fixed things.

Every time there are only three xenos hiding inside a dropship, and the 50 marines waiting outside either don't push, or push in small groups that are easily picked off. The latter makes me salt so much, and it happens way too often.

As a marine I got decap'd by a mine somehow, which happened when a crusher ran over it near the Nexus FOB. I was like two tiles away as well.

Re: Your most salty moments here!
Hm now that I think about it, one time I rolled a spec and got hit by a runner 20 minutes into landing whilst on LZ FOB duty, killed it but my squads medic was too much of a boot, gave me medical attention from a first aid kit, and only one 1 damaged bodypart, I was still bleeding, and the medic said she was out of bandages. I questioned her on that since it was 20 minutes into the landing, and I was sure I was one of her first patients. Still slowly bleeding out I got pissed and asked how she ran out this early, and if she even packed at all.
By now, many wounded marines from other squads were being packed into the DS and I was still there bleeding out next to a medic with no gear. Another squads medic noticed me complaining and asked what happened, I explained the retardation of the situation and HE got pissed, tried to stop my bleeding and gave my squads medic an earful. DS got raided by a hunter who ended up killing me. I get taken up to the medbay, and the doctor did not even heal my body, just kept defibbing me....The amount of time I lived kept dropping as he kept defibbing. Then giving me pills and putting me in the Scanner...to which I died again. In the end he simply put me in the morgue. My round was essentially destroyed by a boot medic and doctor. I'd rather have died via fighting a crusher 1v1.

Re: Your most salty moments here!
That's why you ask your medic if he has a bottle of russian red in his belt. If he does, that means he didn't change his loadout and you should stay the fuck away from him.
Personally I try to never be salty at doctors unless they consistently and arrogantly ignore looc advice or something like that. You can't really learn the medical side of things without starting somewhere and doctor is, in my opinion, the role to start at. If you're in a situation where you're still dying by the time you reach the Almayer, it's not the doctors who failed you, it's the medics who did (unless the CO restricts peridaxon... in which case it's the engineers who failed you by not hacking some WYmeds for peri).

Re: Your most salty moments here!
When certain CO's are unreasonably hostile towards Medical. It'd be different if they were like Gorman and had every boot turn in AP ammo until a threat was identified (or restricted Soldiers to sidearms only) but it seems that it's constantly CO's taking a dump on Medics/Doctors over illogical stuff. I've seen MP's arrest Doctors over the triage order they treat patients, MP's ordered to search Medics for illegal drugs (thus slowing their ability to finish their loadout) and calling life-saving drugs "dangerous" while giving Medics quick clot. If ANYTHING they should immediately confiscate quick clot, as I've seen dozens of Marines killed by double QC but not a single Marine OD into paincrit/death by the other drugs in medbay. Makes me want to Cryo when I see certain CO's announced.

Wooh boy...that is just unlucky and sad. If it helps you, loot and find the ATK (advance trauma kit) lying around. It heals, stops bleeding, infection and reduces the pain. That'll stop from you dying to ever meet the medic in person!Tysonix wrote:-snip snoop-
Just a few rounds recently, I rolled as a standard to have some good ol'e mindless fun! Knowing the consequences that the people who plays medic in the round are probably green as green can be, I try to babysit sit them with a ATK at hand I took from the closets of LV-246 and a readied analyzer to help them treat their patients. Whooh, not to insult since their very new and is forgivable, they had a long delay on what things do. We had a suffocating patient (presumably from low blood and punctured lung) who unfortunately, wasn't bandaged or healed up and the medic sat there...staring next at the guy. I was, shocked to say the least. So I kept CPR'ing the guy so he won't die fast and it took the medic so long to use meds that I shamefully powergamed and took out a Dex pill bottle that was lying around near me and gave it to the patient. 30 seconds later, the medic administered Inaprovaline, which, surprisingly to my surprise stabilized the guy to normal condition.
So TLDR; Green medics are a dangerous thing to see in the FOB.

Re: Your most salty moments here!
This one round where I joined as a Charlie Standard only to discover that the Charlie Prep has been hacked open, looted and made all-access by what I guessed are the requisitions staff.
I'm okay with taking supplies since marines need them but not only making them all-access but also leaving the door open for anyone to just waltz in and vend weapons? Thats actually a worthy crime based on the marine law.

Guess you're fine with not receiving any ammo, flares, or guns on a supply drop then. Also I believe the vendors are naturally "all-access", likely the only roles that can't use them are the civvie ones. If they were hacked, it was probably to unlock the special ammo.

Re: Your most salty moments here!
One time two people got into a pod and I was guarding it with a shotgun. Some baldie tried to get in and I was like "this one's full". He pushed me over and got in the cooler cause I wasn't going to shoot him over it. I then got eaten by a ravager while the pod escaped. Not sure why but I got pretty salty at that one.

You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.
