Does anyone have any good memories about it? Or Is there anything you don't miss about the pre alpha map that you enjoy now?
Personally, I love that i don't have to wait 30 God damn minutes to get my squad selected by the shitty blue uniform fuckers that did jack off nothing :/

haha That was so confusing for a new person! If the ship wasn't confusing enough you couldn't even play until you were given an assignment.

Re: Pre-Alpha Sulaco
My favourite memory was being a borer in a borer event, most of us decided to go the cult route, some of us became symbiotes. I took over the Commander and the rest of us started spreading through Command. However, the Commander wanted to reveal our existence, so I got up in front of the Marines, saying we'd do briefing, stuck a gun in his mouth, then quickly released control. He died, I survived, everyone else was in a panic, and by then we'd already taken control of Security. We nearly controlled the entire crew, but were discovered near roundend.

I liked it. No RO, no Engine, MPs were mostly not a bunch of cunts. Just marines, FF, and aliens.

Nah mate we I agree with playing the old maps again, even add in Hugger AI just for the memes once as well see who gets to the good old LO line 1st and gets the screwdriver for the flashlights first. That'd be hilarious especially when newer people would have no idea what to do.

Re: Pre-Alpha Sulaco
My best memory, was when I was playing Logistics Officer Raul Garrison, I was tiredly giving a late sleeper his assigned squad. When all of a sudden a runner pounces on him as he's leaving. Of course, I freak out and run to the bridge and get on the console.
"Code Red, all forces are to immediately return to the Sulaco."
Announcement: "Attention! There's-AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"
While I was typing out the announcement, somehow the runner was able to get into the bridge at a confusingly fast time. That was all I had left to type out before it proceeded to slash me to death.
Afterwards, a bunch of marines stormed the bridge, only to find my bloodied corpse thrown against the wall, pistol in hand. What really made me smirk was in ghost chat, I heard this.
"Damn, that LO, died doing his job to the very end"
