Intense/epic battles

One time I had just arrived on the ship and just got geared when a single alien had made it onto the ship. After hunting it down to medbay and killing it, the rest of them came and in force. Rushing out only to be greeted by a host of aliens we were able to lock the main door with a welder. Giving wookie some metal he began a hasty defence while I began to set up the inner medbay defence to the morgue. Eventually breaking through one marine was captured and the other hid in the disposals, leaving wookie and me to deal with a ravager and praetorian. Some how we killed them both, sharing some ammo to eventually bust out and escape.

I have quite a few...

One was when Sulaco was over-taken by Aliens, Mycroft Macarthur and myself (Harold McLaddie) had set up a defensive last-stand in the southern pod. Had Tables, machine Gun, Medical Equipment... The works. We had them held there for a good ten to twenty minutes or so before they finally overtook us, due to spitters getting to us and we didn't have any anti-toxin left. But we held out long enough for HiT to be gathered!

Also, I was the Commander and a Delta Marine was being traitorous and rebellious. I chased him down to the Right-most Engines on the Sulaco, and then called for Backup. A LO came and we stormed in. A firefight ensued, and he had superior weaponry and was pinned the fuck down. We had to call all Marines to the East Engines to come save us. It was pretty cool.

Its was a round where Me and my team were bunkered at engineering, we were a team of 7, roughly a banter squad line up. The set up was a pretty standard FoB with the maintenance shafts blocked off incase of a flanking attempt. We were able to bring the assembly line into our design for a field infirmary for injured marines to get patched. The Engine room was blocked off to prevent any attempts to mass with the APC or the PA supplying power to the Emitters giving cover fire in the hall and atmos. The aliens attacked with what could be possibly the whole hive from both Atmos and the maintenance shafts by melting down the wall placements we have set up to prevent it. What seemed to be a top tier defense was quickly turned into a bloody war for turf as the aliens push my team into the assembly. We were able to block them out from the right flank from they were still coming in from north of the assembly. We kept fighting, we set some tables up and covered the medics who were patching the injured and doing surgey AS the xeno hordes were trying to push inside. Finally we broke the momentum of the aliens by rushing the shafts and mowing them down best we can. Only two marines we killed during that push, Me and Lewis Calhoun....but it was a Banter Victory nonetheless ......

this is more of a funny story then an epic or intense one, but aliens had invaded the sulaco while me and bubba mcchuckles (the only two out of three charlies left, one SSD and the only marines on at the time save the sulaco crew) were still in the engine, so we began to return, on the shuttle i decided, "fuck this, sitting in the chairs are for losers, im going to ride home in STYLE" then proceeded to hide myself in a bodybag.

then it occurred to us it'd be REALLY funny if we used this in a more creative way.

so bubba ran around the sulaco fighting the aliens, helping fight them off, shooting resin doors and so on, shooting the queen when she pokes her head out and NO ONE thought to ask why he was dragging a body bag all around the damn ship, after about five minutes of random crap he had to deal with he decides, "fuck it, we're assaulting" so he charges right into shuttle two, queen knocks him down, alien carrier rips his helmet off with a launched facehugger and just as the aliens think they have another host, i suddenly pop out screaming at the top of my lungs "SUPRISE COCKBAGS!" (and i did it in /me too so the aliens could understand what i was saying), i unload on the carrier, catching him completely by suprise and dropping him, queen knocks me out and tries to nest me but by now bubba is back up and shooting, we have abit of a dance as he gets to my nest, frees me, i wake up and start stabbing the queen, she's doing everything she can to take us out but now the LO, MP and the roboticist are starting to join the fight and as is, we were too much for her.

the round ended as the alien queen died SCREAMING about how using bodybags to suprise people was meta.

and that is the brief story (more of a snippet really) of the Trojan Bodybag.

You see, you can't give an advantage like that, which the aliens rely on, and then make it work online "sometimes".

Pansies..all of them,not daring to chase the xenos into space..until knight came.
Chased their asses to engineering when he went into melee combat with a ravager..dead,his luck ran out sadly..eaten by the queen..but he still had it..HE SLAPPED HIS FUCKING AIR TANK AT ITS INSIDES until it BLEW OPEN
And so..the marines won the round,deadchat cheered his name...the prime fucknugget was born


And that was one of the few epic and intense battles that i remember.

There was once a man and his trusty mech known as omega wolf who took a last stand against the xeno scum when the cowards gased his comrades but before they all fell they called for the shuttle to which the man and his mech stood their ground at one of the escape shuttles facing of a ravager, hivelord and other bugs managing to kill 2 before escaping and then after the escape having to face the queen and what was left of her horde but our brave warrior fell to the xeno menace and with his comrades wishes for better pay and this warriors name was known as Tye Field.
