have you considered making them less tanky, but making their cloak more reliable in exchange? or do you feel that being more fragile would discourage the risk of pausing to try roleplaying?
i know that human/pred interactions are probably a lot more common in various materials i havent read or seen, but the preds in the movies ive seen are mostly weird enigmatic ambush killers rather than the types to pause to try to have a chat on a battlefield with their weird voice copying tech

I saw that go down, and i'm so glad you didn't kill them. It was a fun thing to watch as a ghost.Renomaki wrote: One time, for instance, I was a solo predator on ice, and attempted to make the underground ship my campground.. Only to discover that all the survivors were hiding there too. My response? I just cloak, sneak in quietly and set up camp in a corner they wouldn't inspect, intending to be a spoopy ghost for them and teasing them without murdering the fuck out of a group of rag-tag misfits. They ended up discovering me eventually, however, but together we had a good RP experience and they managed to be recovered by the marines safely. It was very.. Refreshing I have to say, not being a heartless killer of all things and showing that not all predators kill without mercy (that, and killing survivors would be really shitty).

A single xeno can destroy an experienced predator, we all know that, movies, comics, games etc..
Predators must rely more often on his tools than his body, alien mines are there for a reason, to provoke salt on prey. A predator with a good trap skill can simply wreck everyone and everything. They may need that sweet tackle resistance, but if you die to a xeno having such tech and gadgets in your pouch, it's your own fault.
Xenos got no honor, they don't get duels they get hunted. They're prey and must be treated as such. I don't waste my time if a xeno is being too much of a trouble, I just lure into trap then butcher with wrist.
