It's not exactly a super scientific poll, but I'd like to gather some basic data on how many people had CM as their first SS13 server due to it being at the top of the hub the vast majority of the time.

Okay so despite this thing being CHOCK full of bias (volunteer bias, going mainly on CM and reddit with it, strawpoll flaws like no cookie protection or vote duplication protection because I didn't want to have people sign in for this due to it limiting the amount of data it would get) the actual data is shown here at the end of what I feel is a good amount of time for gathering all of it.
In summation, roughly 85% of players who took this poll cited CM as the first SS13 server that they played, and 15% said that they did not play CM first. These results ultimately don't mean dick outside of CM because of the bias involved but it shows how many people here played this as their first server decently accurately.

Actually I'm completely fucking retarded and the data is the opposite, only 15% of players played CM as their first server (polling from Reddit and on the server) and 85% did not.
This data does not in any way satisfy my original goal of finding out how strong the correlation of being high on the hub and having a high percentage of players who first played that server is.
However, due to the diverse sample size, what this means is that this data is very accurate (or as accurate as strawpoll can be) as to how many players on SS13 played CM as their first server, which judging on the sheer number of servers seems proportionally a very significant amount.
