Also remember that it seems memey- but Ibuprofen is also called Advil and Motrin, and that is just in the States/Canada. Other countries have even more commercial names.
Take a moment and think that- maybe Bicardine is just Weyland-Yutani brand (RS)-2-(4-(2-methylpropyl)phenyl)propanoic acid
Now can it make more sense?

Re: Skill system
Honestly, it is a shame that CM has this, but not other servers like Paradise (that I know of).
This system does SO MUCH to fix powergaming, and the funny part is... I had thought of such an idea years ago myself, wishing there was a way I could implement it into Vanilla SS13 so traitor clowns can't just wield into the AI chamber, upload a hacked law and easily kill everyone on the station without so much as an ounce of proper effort... Always hated that shit, ruined the fun for everyone.

Re: Skill system
I like the system. Let's me worry about playing rather than weighing up what counts as power gaming and what is common sense.
I feel being able to choose skills is great, gives Marines more personality, more flavour. Maybe one day it could replace medic/engineering/specialist roles entirely, squad leads giving out equipment to who in their squad fits best. (Would need alotta work to get there though, and might leave certain squads undermanned in certain skills)
I love the movie aliens and am reminded of Hudson's door hacking. He wasn't the "engineer" but he was the go to for hacking

Re: Skill system
I feel like an oversight with the Skills system is that Engineers can't deconstruct consoles which doesn't really make a whole lot of sense.
