Suggestion: emote over radio

Not sure this is the place but the suggestion is simple. Paradise has a system ( which I think they pulled from elsewhere) where you can emote over radio if your first character is '!'

Only abusable as much as regular radio and emotes, great for rp.

Say ";! screams in agony!" becomes

Private Joe Blow screams in agony!

I imagine it being used for memes more often than legitimately, unfortunately. I probably wouldn't recommend it though I do see its potential legitimacy. But like Spoder said, suggestions are closed so it's mostly hypothetical anyway.

This would 90% just be used for memes. Not that that's a bad thing or anything. The whole world needs to be able to hear Joe scream over the radio.

Literally as memeable as normal text, it doesn't play sounds, it doesn't do anything.

It just does this:

;!screams!

CDR Vanechka "Sleepy" Penkina screams!

instead of having to go
;*screams!*

;CDR Vanechka "Sleepy" Penkina says, "*screams!*"

Though, suggestions are closed. So expect this to be locked.

I'm fairly certain the devs have had their minds set on not putting in radio emotes. As everyone has said, memes. And worse things than that too.

What about if you're trying to talk over squad chat and your character does a pain scream emote so instead of saying what you were trying to say it just broadcasts your screams


"ALPHA I NEED HELP IN-" turns into, PFC Bald McBald [Alpha (Standard)] yells, "screams"
