Some choice exerpts from the life of 'No Fear Death'

It didn’t end very well for him, but even after getting battered and bruised, he still kept his fearless temperament and would continue to be willing to push himself to be the best he can be, and dare to do what most might not.
> This nature of his was carried with him since the day he left Yautja Prime along with his fellow hunters in search of fine game to bring honor to themselves and their homes, him now a fine young man who often lightens the mood of those around him and inspires a select few.

See, it was like this....Martzin wrote:I need to see the background to this.
It all started when I got news from a passing NCO that they captured one of my fellow hunters, which forced me to stealth into the marine ship and find their body and gear, wanting to avoid killing anyone due to the salt and drama that normally follows when preds board the Almayer.
I was trying so, SO hard to avoid detection, roaming in maints while I tried to get a plan put together. But then I got caught and ran into a dead end with no escape, and tried to fight my way out, only to be put into the red and too weak to fight, MPs tased me (and somehow believed that the reason I was down was BECAUSE of the taser, despite the fact that I don't think preds can be stunned like that) and put cuffs on me.
Now, most predators probably would just went and blown their bracer, but then I remembered how Feweh tended to frown upon that, since as he said it would be better RP to avoid blowing up on the ship and give the marines something interesting to discuss rather than to press the "Instant-Salt" button. So, I showed mercy to the marines, curious as to what they would do to me after gunning me down and kicking the shit out of me, clinging to what life I had left after the hopeless brawl.
It was then they put me in a tiny, dank cell, tied up in chains with no way out. I had witnessed the horror of what became of my fellow pred and was disgusted by their mutilation, and OOCly feared I'd end up the same. Despite that, I kept my RP strong, starting out furious and angry at the crimes committed and called them horrible monsters for how they treated the dead. At some point a synth came in and they helped to translate, allowing me to clearly call them horrible people who disrespect my people, and how we'd get our revenge someday for their actions upon us.
But as time went on, I lost my flare and simply gave up, accepting my fate to rot in a cell until they decide to do horrible things to me, starving and frustrated, unable to escape yet having no reason to escape, since no matter what, I had brought horrible dishonor to my clan and would suffer either way. If not in a cell, then on a hellish world all alone to fend for myself. And that is if they even do that...
Max was the only one that seemed to be mildly friendly, even if his goals were more to take advantage of my strength rather than some form of pity. He had tried to set me free after the aliens crashed into the ship, but the MPs would get in the way, demanding me to be stuffed into a pod to be shipped out before the aliens took me. I myself was hoping for a chance to regain some form of honor by being set free so I could engage in a last stand against the xenomorphs, if only so I wouldn't die in total shame... Then marine major...
So, here I was, destined to be a lab Yautja for the rest of my sad little life. I left out quite a few things, sure, such as how the CO tried to kill me with her Mataba because I insulted her, but I just wanted to get a general idea as to the events that took place.
Through it all, I could have set off my bracer any time... I didn't. Because I wanted

Re: *Ahem*
I love that we managed to win this round with him still in a cell. Reno actually made that round for me.
edit;
I was CO. What Reno says is true. Here is what was left out;
during some miscommunication, the pred insisted that if we released it- that it would cause us harm. after trying and failing to negotiate an arrangement [to establish comunication with their people, and keep the body and tech for research], as well as having attacked my men, I decided to not allow it to continue to be a threat. The synth had a minor malfunction, and was sent to be disassembled, but the XO talked me down. We proceeded to mock it, and eventually I learned to speak with the foul creature.
It had surrendered to a life as a thing- as a mere research toy.
ar....pee!
