When we (five) got back to the hangar, we received disturbing news. LZ1 had fallen, the Normandy had already left. Command gave us orders to find and restore telecomms. There were supposed to be more xenos on the planet, so the eight of us (five plus three who remained in the hangar) moved in a tight formation, looking for an elevator. After a bit of wandering we managed to find one and get on. Before it even moved an inch, however, a person ran up to the doors outside, the sole survivor of the LZ1 skirmish. Naturally, we took her in, and then we were nine. The party made its way to the telecomms without incidents and tried to repair the machine and the APC, but to no avail.
And then the round ended; the Marines won, and none of our party had died. We (most of us, if not all) were quite touched by the events that had taken place, and by our own chemistry within the group. I took a final screenshot of all of us together, but unfortunately it did not save. So here's the list of the Magnificent Nine.
