Making this thread because I've noticed on our chats and the 'post your picture' thread that we have a fairly amount of players that are serving or have served in the military of their countries so I want to know about your time as a soldier if you're willing to share it here.
I will start, being true that I haven't served in the army, I'm suscribed as a reservist and had my fair share of military training during high school. My country by law demands all its citizens to have military training during high school, this includes going to the firing range and test the army weaponry and tactics.
Nevertheless, I always wanted to join the army and serve my share like most civilians do but that won't happen for political reasons. But I do enjoy going to the range and learn anything regarding any military branch.

I'm leaving for the Army on the 13th this month as a Military Intelligence Analyst.
I'll be sure to share my experiences (Not in detail due to top secret clearance) as my career goes on

Former Navy Hospital Corpsman. Just like any other job it had it's ups and downs. A few real low points. I got out and after floundering around for a bit doing different jobs I went back to school and got a bachelor's in nursing. I'm now an ICU nurse in a large metro area.

1. You wont' get your TS SCI DCID until after you graduate the Intel School. If it's similar Intel training to what I got, expect about 6 months of actual "school". As in, going to classes for ~8 hours a day, every day.
2. You wont' be able to share your experiences as your career goes on. In fact, you'll probably be required to delete your social media accounts and break on-line connections.
3. FM-34-130. Learn it, memorize it.
Also, remember that the Intel School has around a 60-70% fail rate, so make sure you are paying attention to everything. Cause, I think it's fail a test and get recycled. Fail it again and get the boot.
