Charging in as a spec with b18, a riot shield, and a shotgun with a BC/RDS/Gyro configuration and dying in the first twenty seconds of an assault on medical on Big Red. I let my equipment go to my head and got obliterated by a Praetorian's spit almost instantly.

FFing a marine who was manning a forward sandbag position with a sniper. At least she survived, but I shattered her rib cage and puncture a lung.

Walking into my own flames and going instantly into pain crit.

Got the luckiest roll for Spec (On Low of all things) for the first time. Killed a single Beno with an SMG, then got killed by two Runners while failing to find friendlies. To top it off, as I attemped to inject Tram into the engineer that was in paincrit with me, I injected myself. Never got to find out what the SADAR comes loaded with; never fired it.

Different round, I patched a Spec's groin, and only moments later put a burst into that groin because I never got to switch back thanks to the Benos showing up (Also, speedy spec, shouldn't have tried to shoot past them as they bobbed and weaved anyway). Practically gave my life as tribute to a mature crusher to let the Spec escape after my shameful display.

Charging after a ancient spitter that wiled my squad, for the most part, and they had managed to nearly kill it.

Quickly drew my rifle to fire on them.

*click click click*

...I forgot I had the guns safety enabled.

Needless to say, I was xeno chow.

And thus I donated my spine, involuntarily.

>Be CO
>Give CMO smartdisk to research it
>CMO instantly activates the disk in the middle of the CiC
>disk starts going for me
>shoot it with the Mateba
>it misses and hits the CMO in the arm
>smartdisk still manages to fuck me up with a punctured lung
>have to drag the CMO while taking oxy damage to the medbay

this why the Mateba has trash accuracy

It's not the most unrobust thing I have ever done.

It's a little unrobust thing I do quite often..
As soon as a Murry is in my squad, I manage to FF him. From one AP bullet to a full destructive RDS BC FG burst fire in the chest, I FF him.

He is like a goddamn war hero and my brain just goes like : Welp, I'm clicking that mouse-shit anyway !

PS : MURRY ! IF YOU READ THOSE WORDS ! I'M SORRY FOR EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME !

I am Joe 'Broccoli' Campbell
The walking unrobustness, I have in MANY CASES used poorly timed, Thrown, or thrown onto a dark tile and suddenly thrown backwards, GRENADES, GOOD GOD DO I LOVE GRENADES, I TOOK A WHOLE FUKKIN BOX OF M40HEDP GRENADES AND JUST STARTED CHUCKIN EM AT SHIT, I THINK I BLEW UP LIKE TWELVE FRIENDLIES MYSELF TWICE AND NOT A SINGLE BENO.
I occasionally use a flamethrower too, And ofcourse i generally critically fail at using it alot too. Lighting myself and allies on fire constantly.
About the only thing i'm half decent at is shooting stuff, I only occasionally light up a marine with a burst fire assembly M41A MK2 using AP while aiming at the head and it only decaps them most of the time...
Oh and i guess i'm good at non-combat stuff.

When asked what happened, I simply said I fell down some stairs. I wasn't going to admit I nearly blew myself up.

Too many to name tbh, but the one that will never leave me was a day after i had set my macros, and one wasn't working and so i checked on them , and when i clicked back in I shot a shotgun full of buckshot at the fuel tank my spec was carrying blowing it up and causing the spec and SL to go into surgery.

Accidentally throwing my shotgun instead of pumping it.

A few months ago I came back from a several-month long hiatus from CM. Somehow I managed to quickly get back into the swing of things, and felt quite proud of myself for doing so. A few rounds into my return, on prison station, I went medic, loaded up with as much healing supplies as possible, and went down to the station.

So there I was, feeling like hot shit, ready to heal tons of friendlies of their inevitable beno wounds. However, within 2 minutes I found myself alone a few rooms over from the landing zone. No matter, it's not like the ayys are gonna be poking around here this early right? Just gonna head back to the lobby and...

Xeno from the vents.

Aaaaand, I died. Wasn't really salty, but my pride was hurt. To make matters worse, two more medics came along and tried several times to revive me before eventually succeeding. It was a bit humiliating.

As it turns out, things got even worse. After heading back to the ship, a doc attempted to patch me up, but somehow failed and had to do it again. After that I felt a bit uneasy, but everything seemed fine. Then, while walking through the halls, my condition rapidly deteriorated and I fell dead in the middle of the hall. No one came to get me, so I left soon after. As far as I know my corpse just sat there the whole round.

Being a bit of an oldie, I'm sure I've had more unrobust tales than this, but sadly my memory is horrible.

Repeatedly scream to pairs of marines to -not- go down a ladder in Ice, as it was a trap.
They go anyway.
Another guy goes in, I scream at him to not go down as it's a trap.
He stops, looks at me, goes down anyway.
I look down and see that there's just a hunter with him.
"Fuck it I can save him."
Proceed to get instantly tackled and swallowed as a drone carries away the corpse of the other guy.
Cry.

I'll admit that I'm not a very robust marine as a standard. I've also made some bad calls as an SO/XO, as well as a few OB FFs, but my most unrobust moment was as a UPP ERT.

I spawned with a white phosphorus grenade and a pea shooter pistol, which was a problem since the pistol could only chip marine armor and I rarely used grenades. I see a marine emerge from a maintenance shaft, primed my grenade, and double hit the throw button. Before I know what happened, the grenade explodes in my hand throwing scorching white phosphorus in my immediate vicinity, lighting myself and a UPP comrade on fire. Out of options and quickly dying, I charge the marine with my pea shooter while ablaze before collapsing 2 tiles away from him. I didn't even do a lick of damage.
