Maybe you noticed that multiple new movies "prequels" are out. As in Prometheus and Alien: Covenant what is your opinion about these?

Same issue I have with the comics. Raises too many questions with technology, and confused the hell out of anyone who watches them. Not that they're hard to follow, but where are the eggs? You're gonna tell me the eggs that were a thousand years old on lv426 were actually like 20 years old aNd made by some weird gay android? Piss off, give me some more marines verses ayys

what was wrong with it? the only area I would be alright with you hating would be the excessive slipping scene in the dropships medbay. that was just silly. everything else was fine

I liked them, once you realise that the series has evolved past the point of >Scary spooky aliens kill people.

The new series explore some new questions and why it's not my favorite two films, I can certainly appreciate the change in direction rather than the same old tired formula.

This is all I want in a Aliens film. Marines fighting ayys, getting cut down one by one. It just feels right, but Aliens seems to be the only film that can pull off the action and horror together.

Yeah the only decent thing from the last 2 was david. he was a bloody good character shame he had a crummy story around him and a crew of scientists that doesnt follow basic protection/containment procedures

Coventent was a gore fest, the whole head being bitten off and floating in the water was defiantly not pg13 imo

It doesn't have to be realistic... Xenomorphs couldn't POSSIBLY exist through natural evolution. For example I don't think no animal would be able to survive deep space without intervention, they just wouldn't evolve in a way that allows them to survive such an environment. But lets not really get into a realism argument with about movies because it just never really fucking ends

Very last movie was shit from the perspective of everything characters were doing, bunch of dumbfucks without any knowledge. And the film itself was so much filled with director`s obsession on bible stories that it wasnt even funny. Previous one was at least semi good and i did enjoy it, but muh lore... it is broken. Lets ignore it all and live in the past
