No, we've had 3 previous interations of the marine ship and there's no need to change the one we have now.

We stayed approximately with the Sulaco (ship previous to the Almayer) for three years. I would not recommend you raise false hopes for a new one anytime soon.

Almayer is relatively new, compared to the Sulaco which has been around for a solid 3 years, so probably not.

Eh, it's always alot of work, Almayer wasn't functioning correctly since a few months ago, there were problems with power etc.

Though another ship would be cool.

I mean if someone WANTS to start work on a new ship, by all means you can if you have access to do so. Not like anyone would fault you for it right?

Hi there, I'm the original captain and designer of the Almayer. Let me tell you that its not easy making a entire new ship. Alot goes into this. I actually didn't sleep for a few days to push this one out on time. I think I had Apop telling me to go to bed honestly. But no seriously, putting out a new ship every year is hard. Not to mention that means the lore needs to be updated constantly among a bunch of other things. Major overhaul updates? Sure, those happen once every 2+ years. But every year? Might want to keep your pants on there cowboy.

^^^basically this

I'm not the one calling the shots on this, but I can safely say this won't be happening. We're more interested in bringing the ground maps up to speed with the polish we have on the Almayer map

Exactly and there is nothing wrong with the Almayer as it stands anyways. The majority of the bugs and issues have been ironed out recently and Artouris did throw plenty of man-hours into making it happen.

I still stand-by what I said though, if someone wants to start a new project for a map its entirely up to them to do so.
