Conference Room where are you?
I'm making this post because no one ever use the conference Room, for me that is a mistake because It has such a opportunity to increase the role-playing and coord enation in the game.
Like the briefing Room could be used for speechs and overhaul instructions to the Platoon, but the conference Room can be better used for detail squad mission instructions, só the marines would be more Focus on their mission then the big picture.
So what you guys Think about the conference Room potention and If It is necessary to have It.

I'd like to see it used more aswell. Perhaps adding a map that updates every 30 seconds with the location of every alive marine with a uniform on like how suit sensors work in other stations do would go the distance in encouraging people to use it more.
It's always rainy on Ferenginar.

I would like to think that the Conference room was supposed to be used to brief on-ship crew

I remember conference was used once when the Almayer was first released to give a pre-briefing for crew. After that, it was never used again.

Re: Conference Room where are you?
No. Just no. And before you reply, the answer is "No".
Briefing is good as is because it gets everyone in one place, so even if the whole squad is away or not listening having just one PFC who is paying attention can relay the squad's objective.
Every time squad leaders have been gathered in the conference room it ends up taking too long to get briefing done (the earliest I've seen the first drop was 12:35), squad leads often fail to relay their objectives to the squad and things end up going nowhere quickly because nobody knows what to do because they weren't told. This is how company briefings go in real life, but in real life you have OPORDS which detail everything down to what the weather and humidity is expected to be at the time of the mission and hours to prep your gear beforehand. This doesn't work in CM where you have 20 minutes from getting out of cryo to get suited up and told what to do before you deploy.

Re: Conference Room where are you?
In truth we don't have a time limit and Opords don't apply to the situation because we are a QRU in a hostile territory that is only made of Airborne infantry

Space is considered the navy, so I think that airborn is not proper. I'd like a place to group a squad up outside of prep so you could have everyone meet, assign fire teams, and get an order of what everyone's roles are.

Re: Conference Room where are you?
To everyone about airborne/navy
Our dropships would be the equivalent of Naval Aviations.
And for anybody confused about spess, the Navy typically operate long periods of time in large crews in the open seas.
The air force flies single missions and RTBs.
So that's why space is treated as Naval and not Airforce's domain.
