What's up with the stun from xeno pushes?

It seems like whenever a xeno, for example a crusher gets close to me and I try running left or right, I'm stunned and I can't do anything. So it just keeps pushing me forward until I get tackled and inevitably stomped. Was that from the update back when admins decided to make it harder for marines to block xenos?

Cause that's a landslide of unfair gameplay if one side can exploit that to it's fullest while the other has to suffer from the new mechanic while also losing one of their old strategies.

I don't think he means we should be able to push the Xenos. He's talking about not being able to move if a Xeno pushes him.

This happens with ravagers also. I am not sure it really helps xenos in the current/recent state of the game since marines are now "locked into" bodyblocking, and I've had a ravager do this to me only for backup to arrive and light it up while I was getting shredded by its claws. Had I actually managed to escape, rav would've been able to flee.

There should absolutely be better documentation about mechanics like these.

It's the body block aid, only happens with large xenos like boilers/prae/hivelord/carrier/ravager/crusher/queen.

oh so this was it, I was wondering why I completely froze and couldnt move at all when a Crusher was next to me trying to tackle........

On one hand, it's "body block aid", on the other hand, it prevents the marine from giving way to the xeno, so the marine has to keep bodyblocking if the xeno keeps pushing and not tackling.
