Predator Patient -Wait What?!

So yesterday, at around 12:30 AM as a marine, I got spec and was the B18, first hour I didn't do much I had missed the drop and xenos of course were harassing the supply lines so no safe way to regroup with my squad. So once at LZ1 I start scouting then I see...a predator getting butchered by a tank and about 3 marines. I of course wants me some predator RP so I do what any responsible marine does, I go get a medic and defib the predator, of course some people took his shit so in that case, it ruined his attitude towards us. And then I took him up to medbay and had him treated for IB and some fractures after putting anesthetics on him and treating him beforehand with an advanced trauma kit.
Then me and Lydia deployed, and I started to figure out why the B18 is hated by xeno mains, that thing is a minigun with grenades. And boilers are really nice to take out with it. So I killed about 5 or 6+ that round of just carries and boilers. Which I wouldn't have done if they hadn't have captured Lydia, however they did capture her so I made sure that Mikey would do what he would do, get pissed and protective, so leading the charge. Power went out at the end though so I'm not sure who won entirely, but I think I got a medal and I wish I could see if I did. And could've stayed until the end and made sure we won.

Also Lydia is the main person throughout all of this, she stuck by me and we made a good team, shoulder to shoulder killing xenos.

Oh, I was the guy pulling shrapnel out of predator's head! We treated the guy, gave him pills, then moved him into containment. Then for some reason people decided to go into its enclosure and get murdered one by one (CMP's CQC can't do shit against a pred - we had to pull them out of there in crit). Then the CL threw a smoke grenade and went in. Then we decided to burn that guy down, and he decided to self destruct. Blew a bunch of people up. Then we were experimenting with whatever was left - analysing gibs, blood samples, a predator helmet and its disk. The other researcher almost killed himself with the disk. By the end of the round, I was wearing the predator mask, got drunk, and then some xeno runners didn't know what to do with me. Eventually I got captured, and confused the heck out of a carrier trying to stick a hugger on me. Got murdered after that.

Good times! I got like, 5 bug reports out of that round.

Dammit I knew the CL was a dumbass that round, kept trying to undo their cuffs and restraints and let them go. I was up for going up shipside and talking and such, it probably was gonna keep killing till it got Lydia and me saying we are the ones who saved it. And I think also Christine Kennel cause she stole its sword.

I found the CL's husked body inside medbay and proceeded to spitefully cremate their body. That Cl set off multiple smoke nades, basically the opposite of good ideas.

That predator turned super hostile and it took like 6 marines to take him down in research again. I stole his smart disk and got super exploded. But I was healed and gave the disk to command.

Moral of the story is, if you capture a pred cut it’s arms off so it can’t use ya bracer

I was the CMO, and honestly was disappointed at how some of the people treated this encounter. The CL was dumb, the CMP was dumb, and there were two MTs and a survivors just causing problems. This would have been a really neat moment for our two researchers but people had to ruin it. I would have played a more involved role in this, but when the CMP decided the best thing to do was to attack the pred with his baton that really caused me problems. Who was going to kick people out for trespassing when the CMP doesn't care. Anyways the lead up to it was pretty nice.

Yup dead pred best pred. For marines and xenos. Shame I wasn't on for this round else I'd have had chance to go metal gear Pred on everyone again.

That same round the two other Preds took me and were gonna make me fight the hive. I got confused on if I was fighting an individual xeno or all of them and got spitted into crit.

I told them to call me up when they were done with surgery and to not lock it up. From what I heard over command comms they locked it up and a whole bunch of ungas decided to try and poke it and get killed, and the CL kept trying to free it so it could do damage.

Yeah, the situation wasn't ideal. I think the MPs should be cracking down on anyone uninvited going into safe and contained Research "because that's where the plot is". Similar to viewtopic.php?f=135&t=17519 ...
