So I did a thing:
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/ ... ialMarines
I frequent TV Tropes a lot when I'm bored, and noticed that CM wasn't really represented on SS13's page. I reasoned that the server was too different from the main game to be put there with the others.
So I made it its own page.
It's still a heavy work-in-progress, because troping is hard, so help would always be appreciated! (enlist today pls)
As a note, if you do decide to help, please don't include player characters on the main or characters page; save those for the Moments/YMMV pages, please.

Don't use the USCM logo, we had to remove it.

Re: The Colonial Marines TV Tropes Page
Ass Kicking Equals Authority: Marines and Aliens who score multiple kills in a round or otherwise make great strides in accomplishing their factions goals are often awarded with a promotion to leadership status or other benefit, like special gear from a supply drop or a reserved slot for Evolution if they haven't maxed out their tree yet.
Authority Equals Ass Kicking: Played straight and subverted. The Queen is considered the ultimate lifeform able to soak damage from multiple marines at once while using her abilities to incapacitate or kill them in short order. The Marine Officers on the other hand, despite being the overall authority and directed the Marines into battle not unlike the Queen, are generally worse equipped than a Rifleman in their platoon and if a lone Warrior sneaks his way into the bridge he can often kill the entire command staff without much trouble. Squad Leaders and Specialists however, the battlefield leaders of Marines, do have better gear and weapons than most of their squads and much more capable of putting the hurt on Aliens while their squad mops up.
It's the Only Way to Be Sure: Averted. Unlike the Sulaco, the Almayer seems to be completely lacking any form of WMD, the Orbital Cannon strikes the closest they have, able to devastate a large building.

Re: The Colonial Marines TV Tropes Page
Alright, I've removed it from the characters page. I also removed the Almayer logo, as I'm not sure if that's allowed either due to being a modified Sulaco logo.
I've also added the suggested tropes to the page. Thanks a lot for the descriptions!

Wheres bill carson. he qualifies for several trope pages...
Gaze upon me,
for I have wandered deep into the ancient tombs of knowledge to which lie madness and sorrow, cleansing a path for all those who walk behind me...
...
But seriously, does uh, anyone know the way out?!
~Furthermore, I consider that Floodlights should no longer be destroyed.~

Re: The Colonial Marines TV Tropes Page
We need more funny tropes to spice it up. It happens often enough that no doubt it deserves some of the sillier tropes.
Sometimes, bravery comes from the most unlikely sources.

Re: The Colonial Marines TV Tropes Page
Bill Carson, as a player character, shouldn't be on the main or characters pages. He'd be on moments pages/the YMMV Page.
As for more funny tropes...maybe, but again, the main page is more for constants of the game (read: gameplay mechanics) rather than player interactions.
