So, yesterday we had a weird round - https://youtu.be/pNMrYMGSvDc . The Command got pissed at someone for honking during briefing and decided to battlefield execute them. Things didn't go as planned. But there were so many other things happening there that I didn't see them all. What happened in that round? Why did requisitions explode? Who killed the commander? Did a whole squad get arrested?

Mine was:
----
A Medic round that takes a turn for the strange. People can't seem to stop exploding. First someone sets off a grenade north of Briefing. Then Requisition explodes once or twice to the point a few people are in critical state and even the Commander Patton "Hardtrack" Moore is half alive.
And then the honking sound disrupts the briefing. The CO has had enough of it and confronts Noah "Biceps" Cruz about it. They won't step down, so it's time for some Battlefield Execution. Metaba justice is being enacted, but it's not a clean kill. A small fight breaks out. Before this is over, the Charlie Spec will have toasted the Charlie SL, and the Commander would've been decapitated in self defence. Bravo Engineer tries to play keepaway with the body, but we manage to get it to the morgue. I take the mask, but I didn't know about the noise making part of the setup unfortunately, so the honking won't be complete...
We finally deploy, and thank god it's LV - we didn't miss all that much. We fix the power and fortify hydro. When the fog falls, we go to tfort and assault the xenos. Eventually the admins delete my honk face, so I can't be a happy medic...
After treating a bunch of people, we are ordered to fall back to hydro. Another push, and another retreat. While I'm spaced out I miss a xeno runner getting into hydro and my vision is all busted. I fall back to Almayer only to find out I'm wanted for insubordination. Why and by whom, I'll never learn. I do my time and when I'm out, the world has changed. We are evaccing! Our SL comes back as a wanted fugitive - they were probably wanted for taking part in the honk riots - they claim they were the ones to kill the clown or something. So they get arrested.
Bioscan comes in, 30 something xenos. I nope my way to the escape pods. Alamo comes crashing and unfortunately it hits us square in CIC. Welp, no help will be coming! I charge in and get killed. A lot of people escape through Normady, and the escape pods eventually do get activated, although I don't know how...

In your recording, Alpha Specialist turned his incinerator on the Squad Leader for Charlie after the Commander failed in executing him.
This brings up the question if a marine witnessing a failed battlefield execution should be allowed to finish the job in lieu of the Commander.
Currently, the official ruling is that:

The wording implies only the whitelisted players are allowed to, but are loyal marines able to assist should mutinous marines interfere?Whitelisted Commanders are allowed to instantly kill any marine at any time if they feel the marine is a threat to the mission.

By that point, I think they killed the Commander, so... it's a clusterfuck? I think it turned into a lynch mob by then.
But yeah, I'd probably ping anyone that participated, especially if they used something more than bullets. The spec using blueflame was rather excessive.

Re: What happened during the honk execution round?
As far as req went, someone hopped the table, got punched by someone in req, switched on their flamethrower, and things went to shit there. Charlie SL was the one to kill the commander, took his head off with an AP rifle round after someone tripped the commander and got his Mateba stolen. To said SL's credit, though, he did, though probably just out of self preservation, wait for the Commander to empty out his Mateba before striking. At that point, I guess someone murdered the Charlie SL and so the Spec took over, but the whole squad was not arrested, as I saw them fighting planetside later. I was...err, involved in the murder of the commander, though I had no idea at the time it was going to turn out like that, and ended up surviving long enough to take a pod. It was an interesting round, to be sure.

Re: What happened during the honk execution round?
Some deltard jumped over the req table because the CT didn't give him grenades due to acting like a jackass and got into a fist fight with the CT. I was the RO that round, and when I see a deltard in the cargo bay I immediately know to beat the shit out of him, especially since he was attacking a CT. We beat him and then he pulls out a flamethrower and lights both of us on fire, so I start shooting him with a revolver. No MPs came to help though, because why would an MP ever help?

Meteba round directly to the head puts me in yellow, one AP bullet takes off CO's head.
You can't take away the honk.

Noah got hit in the head by the Mateba bullet, Patton tried to high noon and quickdraw his head off, the clown mask ate the round, a lot of scuffling went down, mateba was dropped, albeit empty, Noah shot once, it hit the Commander's head, insta-decap. Simon, the Charlie Flamer Specialist, blue-flame toasted the Charlie SL for that, who was Noah and killed Patton.
