Do you guys think the idea of one of the squads being whitelisted would be a cool idea?

Terrible idea tbh. Whitelists are reserved for VERY important roles, this would only enhance the cliques further.

Yeah I could see this be a nightmare and one more thing staff would have to dedicate themselves to.

The other problem is all the whitelisted and veteran players would be in the only squad meanwhile players who are new to the server would be playing the other squads and probably having no idea what to do. Each squad needs some vets in it to help move things along

Yea for sure my thought wasn’t that it would be a super hard white list, maybe just a white list as easy as applying.

My thought was it would be a way for players who were maybe tired of being frequently friendly fired or not rescued to have an escape from that.

I think that vet players would still get mixed in to other squads via the squad Leader, overwatch, and specialist positions.

It could just be a way for people to have a squad that could pull off some advanced tactics as a tool for the commander, and a way for cargo to be able to prioritize supply.

No. And I don't think it would reduce friendly fire *that* much, since during pushes there's usually a random assortment of marines anyway.

I'd love for this to happen, as long as they spawn really far away from the rest of the squads. Would love to have those cliquey elitist marines away from my own. Win-win.

Sounds like a good idea to me. The main reason I see marines losing is due to INCREDIBLY BAD players killing the SL/Spec/Medic/Engie with friendly fire, or just flat-out not knowing how to do their job.

It seems that most of the reason people want this is so they wont get fucked over by new players in there squad, why don't you just... I don't know try to teach the new players? That might clean up half of the marine cause of death being "Death by FF" and create a tighter knit community with the new players looking on the vets with respect instead of seeing them as the elitist assholes that these Whitelist Squad members would become.
