Of course all issues were "fixed". Do you want to know how? It was easier than writing a single sentence in "Rules".

That glorious, smart, fast and fair idea was to: Ignore issue.

Corpse dragging is the perfect example.
We can all agree this is kinda dick behaviour, a little bit too powergaming and metaknowledge:
1) Denial of fixing by coding. Since I don't know anything about coding this is vialible (for me).
2) Denial of fixing by adding it to rules as example of meta/powergaming. If they see it this way and think that BenoMains would stop playing benos if they would have their behaviour restricted then OK. Denial to the point one staff member simply posted that he would "refuse" to warn and/or ban players for that if this would be fixed this way.
What is strange and hilarious:
3) Denial of fixing by stating that there is no meta/powergaming for xenos. I don't agree with this way of "fixing", but for some reason CM staff don't even want to state it in rules clearly that there is no meta/powergaming for benos.
4) Denial of acknowledging the issue: "Dead have no rights", "Defib is not a right", "Man up and deal with it", yet then "Whoever said 'the dead have no rights' misspoke. We specifically enforce against making the dead more dead, such as trying to husk them, but nothing against moving them around." Hiding corpses is not making "dead even more dead" for some reason. Give Benos ability to teleport dead marines outside Almayer Hull. Corpses are not more "dead", they still exist, but are very well hidden. Retrieving corpse from space is not that much harder than searching under every dead xeno body, under other undefibable bodies, under bodybags etc.

Maybe Cabal worded it a bit harsh, yet he is right and you have nothing to counter arguement this, Spooky and you leave, like devs always do when they can't justify something stupid.

Would anyone kindly post few examples of Xenomorph bahaviour that breaks the rule about power/metagaming? I mean those that are bwoinked and punished. Like melting specific items only on Almayer as single Alien.

Devs haven't had a single good idea in months. Adding defenders and warriors was a clear sign that this game is degrading in quality at a ridiculous pace.

Melting weapo vendors. Alien was warned, dunno about jobban. Melting SMESes I believe, too.

Sure, but this is exactly what I stated: Melting specific item on the Almayer as lone Xeno. Anything more?

I'm also against opinion that Devs don't have nice ideas. Warrior is Cool Xeno. Tearing off the head, or whole marine in half is "cool" to witness. If only the leap in his "lunge" was removed. Then I would call him a great xeno.

Why removing the ability to remove organs? One round I gave few diamonds to random Doctor so he could replace my organs with mechanical subsitutes, yet he was restricted mechanicaly.


This update nerfs "Onion" barricades defence. If this is a response to Queen Charge, then I'm fine. If not, what will be made to counter this (What buff for marines, what nerf for xenos?).

Devs have a habit of completely ignoring any constructive criticism because of "salt". Just because you took time to make something doesn't make it a good thing.

Honestly, while I haven't tried the update yet, reading about this DOES interest me...

On the one hand, it'll make building FoBs a bit trickier considering you have to account for the positions of barricades now instead of just slathering the area with rows and rows of them. Plus if a xeno starts attacking a barricade, you have to rush within suitable range now to shoot it, otherwise you risk damaging your own cade in the process.

... On the OTHER hand, this may result in engineers getting a tad more creative now with how they build defenses, FoBs may become cheaper due to the fact that extreme layering is no longer going to be a thing, engineers are going to have to learn how to actually REPAIR barricades instead of just building another barricade in front of it, and combat wise? It won't change much, marines already try to hug the barricades as tightly as they can to shoot, so I doubt it'll be that big a deal.

The only thing this really nerfs is stationary gun emplacements, since you can't just tuck it behind 4 rows and fire wildly now. Placement matters more than ever. Sandbags might even find all new value as well due to their higher durability compared to barricades.

I really, REALLY hope this sparks a new wave of fresh ideas working around this new challenge, but knowing the community, I'm probably just going to be disappointed...

I have made Fort Wulfe on the first round of this change, while I did manage to cripple the entire hive and secure myself a win. However that is besides the point because now you can't onion cades and make a mega fuck off base that Xeno's will have a hard time taking. But 3-4 Layers of cades is still workable, You just gotta sort of space em out a bit, and if get a sniper because you pretty much become god at the FOB as all your bullets will pass through cades.

There is a sort of trick that you will see me do with some of the cades. and its a bit fucking weird but bare with me when you see it.
