Reqs vendor magazines are supplied in the same number as previously, except with the bulk of them in magazine boxes.
Boxes must be placed on the ground similar to bodybags before being accessed, click-drag to pickup. They cannot be carried except in your hands or in crates.
M41Amk2, M39 magazines and shotgun shell boxes no longer fit in backpacks or satchels to encourage resupply instead of complete self sufficiency. "
So, the recent nerf/buff that has been added seems both good and bad, mostly bad. It encourages Requisition to supply marines instead of marines bringing a backpack of ammo. I have a few issues with this (salt).
We all know CM is not a game based on realism, and I'm not arguing for realism as it's a hard thing to mimic in a game like CM or SS13, but my main focal point is based around real soldiers being able to carry ammo. Real soldiers DO have a limited supply of ammo to carry, see link below
But what about shotgun ammo? This is the main issue. A shotgun belt can hold 10 handfuls of shotgun ammo, or around 50 slugs/buckshot/flechette. I can personally go through my belt with slugs in less than fifteen minutes in heavy fighting. I'm not sure what to do on this issue other than having req being able to be supply ammo, or finding dead/wounded marines for ammo.
Thoughts?
