Best Moments With Bill Carson

Post by Lineman » 05 Aug 2018, 23:25

So, I ask all of you to contribute your best moments with Bill 'Fucking' Carson whether they be good or bad.

I'll start off with saying that my best moment with Carson was when I got to execute him. Carson spawned late into a round when i was the CMP and well a CE had set up a Bar/Lounge on the Almayer near Research and Carson, and accomplice Bert Beach, had hatched this magnificent idea of moving up in the world by making the aCO, the XO, drunk and saying that he was unfit to lead the OP and getting promoted to aCO. I the smart cookie that I am deduced that this was a Carson plot and promptly arrested Carson and Beach and with the XO's permission put them in the execution room. The round ends, marines won obviously, and the Admins were kind and delayed round end so me and my MPs could finish the execution. All goes according to plan and Carson is executed, a doctor comes in and tries to revive the filthy traitor, I stop the doctor and the doctor detonates a smoke nade and then tries to stick me with an anesthetic injector but my superior training kicks in and I knock the treasonous doctor to the ground and prod his ass.

That was the most satisfying moment I've had with Carson

Where is "best moments with Reno Story?"

What about "Best moments with Heinz Meuller?"

Hell, what about motherfucking "Best moments with Blast Hardcheese?"

What is it about carson that he deserves his own thread of highlights when countless others had just as many memorable experiences?

Honestly it is because Carson is such an icon within the community, anyone who pays any attention to the community knows who he is and has an opinion on him, I'm not saying he is the only CM celeb but he is one of if not the biggest one.

You ask me, I'd say Carson is overhyped.

I never see this behavior with even some of the more [in]famous members of the community, such as Heinz "Goosestepping nazi" Meuller or Xur Durgens, a damn good NCO back in his day who helped inspire me to become a leadership figure myself (when I feel like taking up the role, of course). Hell, even older meme marines tend to die out rather quickly as people move on to the next big thing.

Hell, I myself have quite the history, and I don't have any form of personality cult following me around and worshiping the ground I step on just because I used to be a meme at one point. Carson was one of the big boys, but I think nowadays he is past his prime.

Got my CO whitelist back so I'll fix that problem

and to be honest Reno the only thing people know you for is being a whiny baby, you used to be cool but then you really took to the name 'Weenie' and I lost all respect for you, especially when you did that predator thing where you cried or whatever. Plus that engineering stuff on big red was just smh.

My most memorable Bill Carson moment: somehow he pisses off the marines late in the round (probably ordering them on a suicide charge after getting stomped by Benos). Marines mutiny and storm the bridge, Carson promptly fled into the brig for protection following his deposement from CO position. ‘Rines completely overran security and broke into the cell where Carson was hiding, and one fool buckshots Carson in the face after claiming he “came after me with a syringe”. High Command retaliates by bombing the medical bay, and the entire half of the ship depressurized as the Benos game swarming up on the Rasputin. Everyone dies horribly. Good times.

My best moment was my only moment. I was playing SO for the second time of my life and my commander was Carson. He denied everyone attachments at the start and ordered ALL squads to make a "Fort Alamo" below lz1, and then he'll send down attachment crates. Queue the briefing with a bomb going off and general lack of decency and common sense, a squads attachment crate going down before planned and everyone scavenging it like animals and the order to retreat in 60s under insubordination charges if not followed by the order to push to somewhere in 60s under insubordination if not, these last two repeated like twice or thrice.

Wasn't at round end but I think we somehow won, Carson best CO, big brain tactical genius.
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Elder Empress The Wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Marines would tell you. It's a Xeno legend. Elder Empress was an old queen of the xenomorph, so powerful and so wise she could use the plasma to influence all aliens to create life… She had such a knowledge of the xeno side that she could even keep the ones she cared about from dying. The xenomorph side of the world is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. She became so powerful… the only thing she was afraid of was losing her power, which eventually, of course, she did. Unfortunately, she taught her daughters everything she knew, then her daughters bodyblocked her in her retreat. Ironic. She could save others from death, but not herself.

I've heard Bill Carson once ate an entire xeno drone from the inside-out, starting with its butthole.

I once heard Bill Carson gulagged a chef for adding cream to his tomato soup.

I heard Bill Carson invented the dual-wield shotgun meme when he was born with two weiners, and they both shoot live slugs.

I heard Bill Carson exercises BE authority if you forget The Alamo.

I heard Bill Carson invented Warriors because he wasn't satisfied with the wimpy, limp hugs of regular marines.

Man, that was a wild fucking round. Between the brass meddling with Req the whole round to the RO and me refusing to fuck over the marines for their benefit, then getting brigged, THEN finding out the RO was murdered while I was put away really threw me off my rocker.

Due to the positive response to my shenanigans, I decided to post the rest of what happened.

Yo so this one time Bill was a synth spy or some shit. He got admin bussed and turned into a killing machine. I was the only pmc to stay alive in the SD room with him as we fought off wave after wave of marine. This was back when SD was in the center of the upper deck and not at the end, so we got flanked from all sides and were constantly getting naded and shit. We held out and killed so many it was horrifying. Eventually Bill made his escape and I died covering his retreat. As a ghost I watched him fumble around trying to get a disguise just to get killed like a bitch. Was the absolute tits.

Every other time Bill was ever my CO while I was XO/SO or him my XO or SO was fantastic. Great times and great memories. Once he ordered me to charge the crashed shuttle by myself, I told him when I die if he didn't get me a medal for it I'd come back from the dead and kick his ass personally. I died. I got my medal.

When Bill is your CO you just gotta play the loyal marine. Shitters will always undermine him and fuck about trying to ruin the RP that only he makes happen. So you gotta do your part and follow him blindly to make up for it. When Bill is the CO his word is more then marine law.

Always seen Xur being more present at the rounds than Carson.

The only major thing it sticks in the mind about Carson is his command being normaly shit, and his insistence on all marines being wiped planet-side.
