Oh ok I didn't realize we were that deep in the mythos, I thought it was first contact because we always act like it's weird that we see lizard things. But it's not Xeno's first contact they just wiped out all previous contact, including Whiskey Outpost I guess which makes sense. That's terrifying. The marines are just another unit being deployed where a previous unit got wiped out by an alien invasion on humanity's fringe that they don't even know is happening. Marine victories should be kind of miracles.

Another interesting fact is that ERT PMC SLs sometimes know about the xenomorphs. You can see this as it will say something something like the following at the end of your text detailing who you are when you spawn in as a ERT PMC...

HQ back home and W-Y hella know about the beno enemy's existence. They are not however initially aware what's happened to "whatever map we're on". It's up for command and the CL to give the right info about the right things for anyone above them in their respective organizations to even have a clue.

Well, other then W-Y sometimes since they could have orchestrated everything. But every new round equals a new story so maybe it's W-Y intentially fucking shit up one day or the next it's simply retard colonists playing with gas near a forest fire. Other times it coulda been UPP or the predators blasting ass.

Xenos don't have and don't want to RP. Even using few changed names it beyond Xeno Main ability. I want to just slash marines, not RP.
Since they don't RP, their Hivemind speech is the last thing some of them do. Atleast some "entertaiment" when you are ghost. Other than chuckles when they try to RP evolution proces: "I'm 200 ticks to Ancient!"

I'm mixed on whether I like it or hate it atm. Personally I think some xeno roleplay actions, like doing /me's to captures, showing total and utter obedience to the queen (I kinda find this alot of fun if you RP being a yesman) and hissing/snarling/whatever at predators, and try to be spooky at times.

But I also hate the fact that xenos have very few tools to roleplay with. There's no 'shipside role' for the xenos, no way to establish a background history, and no way to safely roleplay between xenos and marines. Of course that's to be expected, since Apop's image for them was that they were a 'nameless, featureless horde' or something like that, so having snowflake xenos isn't a priority.

As Queen, I occasionally try to speak as the hivemind so to say in terms of phrasing and responses, but it doesn't catch on. Usually I just whisper apocalyptic messages to captured marines and spook them for fun.
