Hey, everybody
I was thinking today after playing research for about 10 rounds and seeing the chemicals you can mix to create compounds...
I was wondering how much people have experimented with these and if so is there ways to create...
- Anaesthetic smoke grenades
- White phosphorus grenades
- Explosive gases that can be lit to create flames like Incendiary
- Radioactive particles in smoke or fragments
Most of these are far fetched but just wondering if anyone has tried anything interesting like this.

You can crate some of them, but you need things that you just can't get without admin intervention. Teargas nades are already in MP armory and to make one just fill beaker with "capsaicin" (MP's spray) and here you got it.
Thermite is disabled, no Uranium to create anything radioactive and I guess explosive gases that can be lit are disabled either. I tried to make cheap welding fuel variant, but nothing can lit that fuel lying on the floor. I remember that a year ago you could lit it with flare, not it's gone.

Well, Cabal sayed pretty much everything at this point.
-Teargas? Sure, get Pepperspray from the CMP, if he allows it.
-Anesthesic Gas? Make Soporific mixed with smoke.
-White Phosphorous? It's called Napalm, my friend.
-Thermite? Disabled and removed at this point.
-Explosive Gas? Nope.
-Radioactive Gas? Nope x2.
I play Sydney 'Lilly' Wood, the totally not depressed doctor, And the marine Dylan Bell, that probably joined the USCM by accident.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions related to research.

Metal foam grenades can be made, useful for trapping xenos.

Yeah I got my first idea after seeing the soporific and I didn't really know you could pack a grenade with foam will have to try that one out..kind of a shame about the others...can you not make acetone and material compounds on the ss13 chem list?

So napalm is the only type of wp munitions you can create....that kind of sucks would be interesting if researchers could create new types of ammo for soldiers and mass produce them in some way...somthing to finally counter the alien buffs late game.

Chemnades were removed because people were abusing them to create cleaner grenades that made huge areas no-go for both aliens and marines.
