Anyone else think acid is a bit too weak? Takes a while to eat through stuff?

i agree, at least drone acid is certainly crap (i've yet to try out HL, Queen and Prae acid lately)

i think in the transition from classic CM to alpha they may have nerfed it abit, i dont remember it taking this long to melt through shit back on the nostromo even as a lowly drone.

It's fine. Between drones, sentinels, spitters, praetorians, ravagers and crushers, Aliens have enough sources of terrain destruction that the speed of one acid tile barely matters when you can spit on several sections of wall and open up an unguarded entrance that is guaranteed to advance your forces through Marine defense.

Aliens are designed to be unstoppable, to push through walls, tables, people and bullets. Make sure you get weeds down around where you want to fight and coordinate a push for when you make an opening.
