The mercenaries wouldn't be always aggressive. They might soemtimes have an objective to "retreive this object" and they could help the marines.

I like the rebel round, simply because it mixes up the game type. Marines can no longer plan on fighting xenos all the time (Hey, maybe those smoke grenades you're always ahelping to question might come in useful now :P)
TLDR: Go back and read it. I spent time writing that, ya know.

This is "Aliens Colonial Marines", people come here for the Human vs Alien conflict.
I think having PMC's as a wildcard third faction might do well, but I'm not a fan of a pure Human vs Human conflict.

Nope, we don't come here to shoot other humans.
But we might have to either way eventually, since y'know .. The USCMC would likely have more things to deal with than just aliens (And there are other aliens than the xenomorphs in the alien universe). And to add variation. I think if we could do them well, like something similar to this http://avp.wikia.com/wiki/Iron_Bears it could be fun.

All of these sounds really, really cool So just for reference if I could I would vote for all of them.
But since I can only vote for one of them I go with the mercenaries. Would be nice to have a third faction that could shake things up a little bit. Also I really like that they have their own secret agenda that may or may not align with what the marines goal because that adds a HUGE potential for roleplay!

All of these sound great, but I voted for Mechs. Because Mechs. However there's an even more important feature that's not on the list and needs to be put in over any of them; a fleshed out health system for Xenos.

Not really sure the the Rebel vote is so popular...... This is Colonial Marines, not CoD. I'd suggest if you want that, go play a different server? Just my opinion.

I love the idea of all of these, especially the rebels and combat mechs.
I think it'd be fun for this to occur as an admin-event every so often, and not just because I want to shoot other people, but I think it might create some good rp. Survivors could start as hostages, for instance, and the CL may be involved to negotiate their release. Regardless, I like each of these ideas, and hope to see them all in the game someday (pretty unrealistic that they'll all be put in, but still.)Not really sure the the Rebel vote is so popular......
