Player Kudos thread

Post by 1138 » 05 Sep 2015, 09:27

Self explanatory, since someone in the mini-chat was talking about how we don't have a designated area to talk about cool/funny/awesome players... yet we have boards for people who act badly.

A little praise wouldn't do much harm, though!

Kudos to Doombug1: The most robust fucking runner I have ever seen in my entire life oh my please stop throwing huggers at me.

Coroneljones: Hands down one of the most entertaining commanders/XOs/BOs/merc captains ever. Always have a great time under his wing.

Seconding kudos for the monstrosity that is Doombug1 and his alium plays. I hate you just as much as I am inspired by you.

And praise be to those players who occasionally get the janitorial cart and clean up the Sulaco. It's a small job, but some of us appreciate it.

Everyone that was on that weyland Yutani PMC with me. I lost your names but you made that round fun for me as we role played trying to cover up the situation while saving ungrateful marines. My only regret was our plan to set the sm to self destruct not working since we got wrecked.

Kudos to Mark Hanford and Mike Hernandez for molesting me and fighting the MPs alongside me each round we're on. Additional kudos to Wooks and Murta for being badass as fuck, and to Nai Milako for defending my innocence during a fight with Command.

All of these PMC's. They were just.. the best, and it was fine kicking alien ass with them.
Thanks also to sas, and the player of Yuma. both of you were fun PMC survivors to roleplay the situation with.

Odd as this may sound, but that one runner born on the Sulaco that took out 6 or 7 marines on the Sulaco without any weeds or alien support (Happened about a month ago).
There are a lot more I want to shout out to, but it is getting late.

Kudos to B.L.U.E. for being the best little pAI a nosy corporate liaison could ask for. The amount of recon and daring alien escapes that little pAI accomplished was legendary. And made it back alive, even while the aliens were preparing to take over the pod!

Shoudout to Bibblesless (I think that's right) aka Deuce Manchester. Great RPer, very respectful to the chain of command but doesn't meta.
Lennox Clarke- Corporate Asshole or Duty-bound Officer depending on the role.
Manley Maclagan- hot shot pilot, spec, or grunt.

I have to give one to Balto (Thats his IC name...). He is the one marine I have seen who realized he is a sole survivor, grabbed his knife and riot shield, then proceed to make himself a vary obvious target for the aliens. I believe that round he managed to take down three before they got him too! But hell'a good time watching!

Kudos to Gelonvia and her Casca 'Legs' Orivanna for enlisting me and my "master chef" to help bring down the evil Corporate Liaison. It took what had, up until that point, been an experience of a survivor being abused by MP's and suffering from some really unfun RP decisions and turned into a great round by the end.

(And for the record, the player complaining about the MP's that round afterwards wasn't me. All my issues were dealt with very well by the staff in game, who are also deserving of many kudos.)

Kudos to Dallas Bullard for making a valiant attempt to save his ship as a BO. He equipped eva, ran into the the overloading SM core room and dragged the SM into space. He almost got it to transfer zlevels. Alas, he failed in the end, getting flung across z levels before the SM did. Still, props for the effort!
