Supply Drop or Super Powered Orbital Strike???

Post by Quakes72 » 29 Sep 2015, 08:33

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to throw this out there because it has been in the back of mind for a little while now! Is it even possible? Has anyone done anything like this before?
Cant wait to read the replies,

>CMO/Doctor creates a series of grenades with a single remote detonator
>RO/ Cargo Tech places grenades inside of a crate
>Crate placed on squad supply drop pad
>Ground squad activated supply beacon near an alien nest set up inside the medical facility
>Bridge officer/Command personal launch the crate holding the grenades
>After confirming package has landed the CMO/Doctor sends the remote signal
>Alien nest = all gone

Remote signalers don't signal across z-levels I believe.

I have done it, I used a signal grenade on the lower deck of the Sulaco while I was on the upper deck.

The likelihood of this happening is slim, though if someone actually does it then it would be quite possibly OP to the Tenthousandth power

Me and Jones have done this on the old server with the Nostromo map. We basicly got a fuck load of knight and Skinner nades (Knight nades with extra explosives) And planted them everywhere and got everyone off the sulaco. Pushed a button and MARINE MAJOR VICTORY. Sadly jones had to leave before we pushed said button

If I am correct, the sulaco is on the same zlevel, as both decks. As is the transit for the shuttle/drop-pod. That is why the signalle worked.

All you need is your Squad Lead to have brought down a signaller with him. Have him stick it in his webbing.

You wouldn't even need to have that SL have the signaler. Just would need someone on ground to have access to a signaler so that you could relay the channel/code combination.
