Friendly fire is fine, for the amazing marines fighting against shitty aliens, it gives the aliens a fighting chance.

However, what I don't like is when friendly fire occurs out of combat, and when it breaks bones. THAT'S WHEN IT PISSES ME OFF.

Just the other day, I was in a round. We found a survivor. Someone was breaking open the barricades so he can actually get to us. One marine was doing nothing, the survivor was using a crowbar. Taking way too long to break it open. I say, "Let me shoot it, it'd be quicker. Marine, move out of the way". Marine doesn't move. I push him out the way, than move back. Shoot my pistol once. He moves right in front of me, and some bone breaks from ONE PISTOL SHOT TO THE CHEST. He understandably gets pissed and spouts "WHAT THE FUCK" in extremely broken english, than once I explain he understands. Survivor eventually breaks apart the barricades with a crowbar after we died of exhaustion and age.

One shot to the hand, chest, or head pretty much guarantees you being taken out the round for a while. It sucks.

Another time, just a round ago, was when I was defending West FOB. A team of mahreens run forward, chasing an alien, despite everyone telling them to stay in FOB. I come with them, tell them to come back. By the time they turn around and listen to me, a team of a carrier, spitter, ravager, rip us apart. The two marines that started the chase run away, leaving me and another marine that was just following them get taken and nested. Sigh, talk a bit in charlie about the situation, become an alien, then walk forward to nexus to play and while ripping up a light get exploded due to a mine.

Playing as squad medic part of a push to assault caves. Some moron fires a grenade into the middle of the group mid assault. Myself and 3 others now in crit, luckily another medic saves me so i can start evac of wounded. Second grenade goes off almost on top of wounded.

Return with about 12 other injured/dead/infected. Medbay is freaking out with the influx, multiple infected burst and escape. i try to help but keep dropping things due to my arms being fractured finally have a doctor turn up after 20 minutes , attempts to do surgery on a stretcher started on 90% health ended up bleeding to death after failure surgery for 15 minutes.

Get cloned after another 10 minutes, cryo tubes unpowered left to slowly die again on floor. In short i spent more than half the round slowly dying twice in Medbay over a fractured arm.

This one goes out to all of the chucklefucks that throw EMP and cleaner grenades plus flashbangs when found.

Fun fact: a marine that threw a EMP nade was killed, with everyone present at the incident agreeing to never say a word about it.

Huh, here it goes. Ice colony round, playing Bravo SL, gear up, head down, setup the FoB, all is fine. I go AFK for 7 minutes and then I come back to see that a BO ordered my squad to assault underground alone, "What the fuck?" I go over in my head. I hear them screaming for help and shit. I went down with the elevator and I just basically see a lot of wounded. I rush forward and assist people getting onto the elevator, killing a lot of ayylmaos in process. Then I see a crusher about to charge into the elevator, run up and slash him with my rifle, he retreats, then I see a boiler about to bombard, spray ton of bullets onto him, he runs away. I start going back to the elevator.. And then it's called by a fucking Bravo Standard in the name of Sarah Powers! All that effort into saving my God damn squad went to SHIT.

I was about to fistfight a pred when a ton of people got mad and started yelling over LOOC, and distracted I died to a runner. Salt for daaaaaaaaaaaaays

Join the round, I'm a specialist!
Grab a sadar suit up through briefing. Work with a strict squad leader that puts us into fireteams and has us ddoing tasks left and right.
After a long while, get ordered to assault the caves with the other squads.
Take out a runner with a shotgun, see the queen coming to screech once more, whip out my launcher to stop her-
Shot six times and critted by a marine that has already friendlyfired five others.
Queen escapes presumably, and I barely get medivaced to the sulaco, with my sadar, thanks to my darling medic.
Take over an hour to just fix my damn head in surgery.
Finally get down to the FOB, all the marines move up to the sulaco to mutiny against Carson.
Hold the FOB with three others, kill 5 aliens.
Hot damn, we're actually doing really well. FOB's been built excellently!
Maybe we can delay any further assaults till they finish the mutin-
Suddenly, /all/ the aliens rush our small FOB at the LZ and nexus cafeteria.
See six aliens all grouped up near the entrance, perfect time for an HE rocket!
Unsling my launcher, check in front of me is clear, just a bunch of tables.
Unsafety the launcher and fire-
Boom, Rocket explodes two tiles away knocking me down, instead of eight. The FUCK happened?
Look back in logs to find out my HE rocket deflected off of a TABLE and blew me up.
Rage in deadchat a bit before salting away slowly.
So very close, to stopping the xenos from forcing marines out with a threeman FOB.
