I was playing as carrier and admin teleported himself and me quite close to the only remaining human on planet.
He got hugged, I reported that to the queen and she gave order to execute. So I did.
Then admin PMed me to stop it, saying that slashing infected hosts is against rules. That's right. But disobeying queens' orders is also against rules. How should I have acted to not to break rules?

Queen here. There was a reason - a round was long and that human was the last human alive. I guess that's enough.
And, uh, carrier was told to KILL survivor, not to infect him. I guess he used hugger only to stop that furless host.

Re: Conflict in game rules
Yeah, I wish these rules were clarified a bit more. Like, for example, is using a hugger to disable then kill still allowed? And also this situation. This rule was needed, but it causes quite a bit of confusion on alien players end.

Re: Conflict in game rules
I'm tired of the whole "don't slash hosts" being applied without context.
Hosts should not be slashed when:
1) aliens need more hosts (is often false lategame)
and
2) keeping infected host is dangerous to xenos or other hosts
The purpose of the rule is (or should be) to prevent xenos from harming team xeno, not to protect marines that were facehugged so they could be killed easier.

Re: Conflict in game rules
An infected host counts only when the icon is visible. So if you hug someone and kill them immidiatly after that is not concidered a infected kill. Because it drops a healthy face hugger as there was no imantation. But toros is right. Do not think this rule will give marines the ability to do what ever that want with no reaction. If you can't be contained and it's better for the host to die then live to reproduce. Then the aliens can and will kill you. If marines attack in number and there are several infected in the attack. Expect to be killed not captured. As you can't be disabled quickly. Just a heads up.
