Playing as Researcher: Sacrifice many corpses to the Eldritch Gods, get decapitated by a Faithless, get cloned, find out the Eldritch Gods gave you native gold ore, almost get implanted due to lag by the CL, shoot the CL to near dead and bleeding out while you die, get revived due to Eldritch Gods accepting your sacrifice, get decapitated by a Faithless again. 10/10 would do again.

I have a picture of it. It was in old CM and I was a Squad Engineer, I set up shield projectors in the Nostromo Engineering and made an impenetrable defense around both the Singularity Particle Accelerator and Engineering after welding all the vents shut. I ended up becoming the last living marine and the Admin online at the time, now my friend SpeedyBast, told me to either commit suicide or take down the shields. I decided to do both and so after I took down the shields, I threw myself into the Singularity.

I once trapped a ravager as an engi. There was a guy fighting a ravager inside medbay (and losing it), I planted a mine at the door and covered with a welding backpack.
Next thing I shouted the marine to run away and told I had a mine under the backpack. He ran and the ravegere followed him, where me and another marine waited for him, he stepped on the mines, knocking him out, we then made him swiss cheese.

After that, a crusher came outside to help his fallen friend, he ran to attack me, but he derped around and stood still, we procede to kill him, but not before a marine shot me. I then bleed to death later, my best oment got ruined by friendly fire, GG no re.

I was a doctor, sent down early to the fob to do surgery. I spent at least a couple of doing surgery in the chapel, till a crusher breached it and the marines drove off a large alien assault. I was going to go back to the sulaco, but reinforcements arrived so I stayed. I spent so long at the fob, and did so many surgeries, i ran out of anesthetic and most basic medical supplies, but i kept on operating. About 5 hours in the aliens finally breached the fob and i managed to make it back on the shuttle. Can't remember how the round ended, but i did 20+ surgeries, including 10+ infected. It was an exhausting round.

Ok. Incoming wall of text, but this round just ended and I need to tell the tale.

So, it was a regular (SURVIVOR) round on the planet. I ran around, got a radiation helmet, gasmask, a service pistol and a crowbar. I continued running around until I found another survivor, setting up the engines, we turned on the floodlights and fled to science, (Then suddenly, they went SSD, ;-;) I ended up getting face-hugged by a spitter and runner. So anyway, I almost killed myself, but then I burst. Except. Someone ELSE burst-ed out of me, so I was there for 10 minutes, waiting. Until SUDDENLY, the queen gets murdered and the hive gets destroyed, (At this point I had to wait 10 more seconds), the hive got absolutely mauled and everyone was killing the larva, so I came in as Larva [21], you know, expecting to die in two seconds. But instead managed to evolve into a drone, take 10-15 SMG bullets nearly point blank, and escape to a tunnel. I come up to the very east of the map, where I find a small, yellow building to place down weeds, (You can't plant weeds on grass because ayy lmao), I found out the only survivors were me, a drone, and a runner. So I evolved into the queen, eventually we rebuilt the hive when all the humans left.

During this time, we gathered an insane amount of monkeys, and when we found the last surviving larva, we encased it in membranes and walls (A common tactic, membrane is for the "oh look cool" moments, like a giant egg which hatches larva, also, the larva ended up becoming a praetorian). Eventually, we secured the nexus, because ALL the marines were gone, we infected one person and held him in the bathroom while we expanded the rest of the nexus hive. Eventually, however. The drop-pod came, and along with it...A pod. Yes. A pod. It flew into the nexus, and stopped, so I started slashing it, eventually it moved and, one marine came out. "SCREECH", (At this point in time, the drone was to the east of the nexus, all the aliens were somewhere outside the nexus), suddenly, after he drops. Every. Other. Alien, suddenly ambushes. The other two marines jump out (one at a time, mind you), we managed to capture all of them, that being the second awesome moment of the round (The first being my miracle survival). Then, we all hi-jacked the drop-ship and face-hugged the people on it....Oh, by the way, when we got on and started flying, everyone started spamming roar, including me, here's a SMALL part of it

So anyway. After that, we all cried. "AYY LMAO" and then proceeded to kill everyone on the Sulaco in a matter of minutes.

And that is what happens when you have competent aliens. (Also AYY LMAO)

One time my squad was pretty much the "SEAL Team 6" of the round, we had to do the dirty work. We pushed north of course, and we heard the FOB was under attack by a lot of Xeno's. So, our squad invades the caves, and I believe we nearly killed the queen. After about 30 seconds, we hear on the radio that the aliens have fled from the FOB, and seconds later, our squad found out why. Nearly every xeno that was attacking the FOB flanked my squad, so over the midst of battle, the SL activated an orbital. We were screaming at command to activate it, and luckily they did. Unfortunately, most of us died, but at least we took out a few Xeno's and probably saved the FOB.

This one happend back in the Nostromo times with OP stunprods.

We cleaned out the station and were hunting down the queen who was hiding somewhere. So me and my Squad (at this point maybe 3 people including me). Walking down maint with me as pointman.
Suddenly I make a lucky find in a locker, the queen! Being the fame hungry f*** I am I reach for my baton and manage to stun her. Now, this would be the end for most people but I decided whatever there's still a drone out there I heard so I cuffed her and drag her around as my pride on the Nostromo and the Sulaco. As you could've guessed, she escapes.
Now I gotta restore my honour. Me and a couple of marines drive her into a dead end in medical. I tell everyone to hold fire and take out my baton, I was getting that queen back in her cuffs. Bust into her hive and stun her again. Lock her up receive some medals from Centcomm and proceed to soak her with bullets when she Turks out to be the last alien.

There was this time, back on the old Nostromo, I was doing embreo surgery on Xur and had just pulled the fucker out, when none other then the alien queen bursts into the FOB at arrivals. The round had been long, and all the other remaining marines were hunting down the last of the aliens in their hive. Somehow, she'd escaped. I draw my pulse rifle, but she screeches, and I drop it, but the tables keep her from getting into my field hospital untill I stand back up. Xur is stable, even if he's strapped to a rollerbed with a massive hole in his chest, so I grab my scalpel and bonesaw and go ham. After a few swings, the queen realises this was a poor life choice, and tries to back off untill her scream is back up. I pressed the advantage, cornered her against a wall and a shuttle console, and hacked her apart. as I trudged back to finish the surgery, I'm greeted with "GOD, HAS A HARDON FOR MARINES, BECAUSE WE KILL, EVERYTHING WE SEE!" I completed Xur's surgery and had him back on his feet before the map reset.

Tie between two moments, both very different.

Prison map, high pop, was the only medic holding the medical centre FOB (There were very few medics to begin with and I think the others got destroyed in combat). Had an endless stream of injured marines walking and being dragged in, and I was in constant triage mode for 30-45 minutes while occasionally having to fight off aliens poking their heads in through the barricades trying to kill my patients. We kept our foothold and eventually won. It was very satisfying knowing I was the unsung hero of that battle.

Another moment was my first time on the Halloween map, so I genuinely didn't know the layout or my way around. Squad of 5 was told to get the power on (lol), but weren't given clear directions in finding it, so we ended up wandering through some caves. We eventually wandered into the whole nest and got caught. Aliens didn't leave enough people watching us, because we all ended up breaking out around the same time so it was 5v1 against the queen with knives, pistols and one rifle. Killed her, a couple hivelords then limped our broken asses out of the cave. Good times.

I escaped an alien nest with only a pistol, evading the Queen and shooting a Boiler in the ass.

Of course the aliens were distracted by a couple gun-blazing marines nearby to notice me fleeing but after the countless times of failed escapes, getting out alive was awesome. Even though my chest burst on the pod back to Sulaco. But I got cloned soon after.
