Frankly the corporate liaison is becoming another target in the firing range of marines, and I've seen one round where a liaison was gunned down for a reason I cannot remember.
Maybe we should implement more things for the liaison to become an appealing role.
1. VP70 sidearm
2. Hidden Objectives (These only happen once in every few rounds so a marine doesn't light up the liaison for being so shady every round)
3. Something appealing to the marines in the safe (Ideas are welcome)
4. Maybe some documents or items in the safe that would make the survivors either side with or against the liaison. (Something that doesn't make a survivor get tossed aside or shot by the marines and hop around the medbay for the whole round)
(Something related to the infestation)
While we're on the topic of Wey-Yu maybe we should add a single PMC as a role to give the Liaison some muscle.
As for the doctor sidearms and their change to Wey-Yu personel that I've heard rumors about, maybe we should not make it for every doctor, or give them beanbags. Also, maybe we could exclusively give the CMO a gun as a "trusted" staff member of Wey-Yu. It probably shouldn't be a VP70 to stop the lure of people joining CMO for a fancy gun.
tl;dr
1. Liaison should be an antagonist for some rounds.
2. Liaison should get fancy documents and pistols
3. Liaison should get a PMC for a goon.
4. Regular doctors shouldn't get guns. CMOs should get guns.
5. I'm too nervous to post it in suggestions.
6. Merry Christmas!
More Wey-Yu implementation.

I hope the devs are actaully planning for something like this as the laisons are nothin more than civies with money.

I just want anything to spice up liason a little, I play it as often as I can but only once in 3 months has an admin actually responded to my faxes. I keep them updates, sign and stamp all my forms, even take some photos. Then sit and wait as I never ever seem to get a return fax.

Other than trying to enjoy a Survivor roll, I used to play for CL, too. But then it got real bloody boring, real fast, and I get what you mean about getting mileage from faxes being a chore. Then you see people who really don't want it, and try to just sit on the shuttle when it leaves because of how probably boring their prospects are for the round. Fun in theory role, but as is, it needs something other to toy with that doesn't require direct admin intervention.RoswellRay wrote:I just want anything to spice up liason a little, I play it as often as I can but only once in 3 months has an admin actually responded to my faxes. Re: More Wey-Yu implementation.
I made a topic about remote sentries, They can easily rekt a marine, Making marines fear more W-Y instead of slaughtering the PMC sent, viewtopic.php?f=59&t=4995, Also there is the stetchkin pistol, Which is like a VP70, In a round i was a W-Y trusted member as a CMO, I was researching xenos and was paid, Is the CL PMC a job like the other ones? or a special one.
Dabbingly dab.

Locked, this should be a suggestion, NOT a general topic.
