Where art thou, grenade launcher?

I saw a marine early in one round who had selected B18 armor and was rocking the grenade launcher as a primary weapon. Is it possible to get this during loadout, or was it one obtained from the crashed shuttle?

Additionally as a question about GLs during one round I grabbed one that was fallen off another marine. It seemed to be loaded with flashbangs. Are all grenade launchers equipped with flashbangs or do some have normal sphereobooms?

no it is not, they musta looted another spec vendor or the downed shuttle.
no they all come with 3 or 4 frags and one incendiary loaded.

All 'nade launchers come equiped with 3 frag and 2 fire bombs.

There are certain locations you can get a GL. As said before, the downed shuttle on the planet map, and also the secure armory on the Sulaco. Sonetimes, admins use them as a common reward when a squad achieves something.
