I'm hoping to have this function as a way to state events and ideas that the players come up with. I've seen events suggested in the suggestion section, and that doesn't really make sense to me since it's an admins imagination more or less for an event, thus this thread. It will most likely being us going "yea, wouldn't it be fun if *insert here*" if only to get our idea out there were there's nowhere else to put it.

Please note, as admins are free to see this thread as well, on the off chance that an event idea is accepted and implemented, I think it would be neat if a little note was added stating "Heres an event, suggested by [insert persons name here]" but as I've said, this isn't a request board, it's more or less just talking about what we think would be neat.

Aliens: Isolation-esque event/map with playable uncooperative AI, multiple 'survivors', very little gear and very few aliens with some changed alien mechanics to make survivors less likely to all die instantly. Also the survivors have varying goals and do not necessarily trust each other.

An EVA-based mission where marines get armored space suits rather than the usual gear, investigating a ship graveyard during a battle between a USCM Dreadnaught escorting a Weyland-Yutani research vessel versus an Iron Bear carrier. Scattered fighter debris, dropships lost in space, fighting evident on the Dreadnaught from when Iron Bears dropped in and set the engine to overload from within, holes from artillery in the Iron Bear carrier...

And the Weyland-Yutani vessel? Well, the Iron Bears definitely broke some sort of containment there. You can imagine.

Starship troopers event. Marines spawn at a desert outpost with a fuckload of ammo, and several sentries. They must hold out until evac arrives in the form of a dropship. The xenos all spawn as ravagers, crushers, and boilers. When an alien dies it instantly respawns.

Obviously not lore-friendly, but I'll shill for my favorite Sci-fi movie any day. for a more lore-friendly alternative this could be one:

An event where the marines have found a way to capture most aliens alive and have prepared cells for them. But on their way to their cells the aliens break out of their restraints and shit hits the fan.
Would be a cool shitfest to watch.

An idea I've had for a little while. W-Y decides the marines are a liability on the sulaco, and sends a deathsquad or two to get rid of them. Obviously, more than one would be needed, as an entire platoon against four to five deathsquadies is a tad much, even for such advanced soldiers.

Predator clan ship versus the sulaco. Two seperate Z levels, and somehow, in someway, the clan ship is pissed the fuck off by the sulaco. Akin to AvP 3 game, where the marlow is completly and utterly tanked. I sadly, cannot find a clip of this.

I dream of an event where the heavily marine biased staff (or they are just ineffectual at coding decent aliens) actually listen to player feedback on how to balance things and we see a proper 50/50 primetime win-rate. Not the current one that takes into account 3am rounds.

My dream event would be an event where marines answer the call of the distress beacon per usual as things would go normally during the round but this time the CL has an ulterior mission to send down a group of PMCs in secret after marines have made contact with the aliens but not just any alien, the Alien Queen who would also be known in the AVP games as Subject 6, a very dangerous and cunning Xenomorph drone that bested even predators. Marines would encounter reports of Subject 6 on paper located in various locations detailing its arrival, its growth, its escape, and its conquest into becoming a queen and destroying the colony. The PMC are used as a retrieval team to burn the reports and also capture Subject 6 because of it being an unexpendable asset to Wey Yu research. Things can turn out with Wey Yu and USCM clashing or Subject 6 can prove that she is even more deadly as a queen(Empress). Predators can also become a factor since subject 6 will indeed be dubbed as a righteous kill.

An event where the Sulaco travels through a worm hole that makes them travel back in time. They land on a World War 1 battlefield with trenches and all that. However, a xenomorph was on the Sulaco and whipped out all of the opposing team. Xeno-Trench-Warfare.

An event where Mr.Weyland comes aboard the sulaco to "inspect" how it's running, and ultimately attempt to catch a xenomorph. He would be able to implement Special Order 937 (thanks mother, You bitch). on top of this, it wouldn't even be the real weyland, it would be one of his android copies. no one would know this, and it would all add to the shock value, should he die...though if he dies, weyland would still be pissed, cause those androids are expensive.
