B-Series excluded: Why even wear armor...and hear me out here. Aliens just pounce you down and ether impreg your or getting beheaded/befooted...The only thing armor seems to protect against funny enough is your own friends, which is kind of weird. I dunno. Just a weird observation.

I rarely protects me against my own marines seeing as two shots does me in pretty hard, unless I'm just unlucky on my wounds. I'm not really complaining honestly. But yeah I guess I didn't think about that Jack, technically I think the Marines expected hostile people...not clawed monsters.

I'm not suggesting a buff or nerf. Granted while I feel the armor is paper at stopping bullets, the only use I find in it is the two slots. But meh really.

Have armor actually help defend your limbs? so far every alien player who knows what to do (which is most of the time) will target the limbs or the head due to them having low protection or none at all, compared to the chest

If I was going to suggest anything it would be to make the armor more bullet resistant. Cause from what I read /somewhere/ is that the only reason we aim for the chest is because it doesn't hurt the other marines alot. And if I am taking two shots and going into crit/can't move due to pain WITH armor on...I dunno, it feels pointless.

No it doesn't, or it does too little, aliens can in just a few hits, like 5 or so, even a T1 can chop your limb straight the fuck off or cause massive injuries in it

Trust me, after playing Corporate Liason, and getting taken out of the action with one shot two times because armor<bomber jacket, the armor helps a /LOT/. Even if it feels like bullets hit you hard, if the target area isn't mangled after one rifle shot, the armor did its job. Also, it has some damn good melee protection. Just play a round without armor. You'll feel the true value after that.
