Appreciation of Staff involvement

I haven't been playing on the server for too long, around a week perhaps. Within that time however I've had quite a bit of fun. A lot of that enjoyment has come from staff intervention within a round to make it more entertaining. I've had two personal experiences with such intervention.

I was caught off guard the other day while I was playing a Xeno by LOOC and an Admin saying I was doing well as a Boiler. Honestly at the time I was just hoping to be useful to the Hive as it was my first time playing a Boiler, so it was surprising when the Admin buffed my character into an Ancient Boiler. Realizing I had enough spectators to warrant Admin intervention I gained the desire to provide the requested entertainment to my viewers, but I can only hope to have lived up to the glorious Ancient Boiler expectations.

The second instance was more recent and involved being the last Xeno alive after a personally uneventful game as a Praetorian due to fulfilling my duty as a Queen's guard. During my existence of being the last Xeno alive I killed a single marine and began searching for other stragglers nearby when an Admin sent me a whisper asking me to stay still for a bit. I sat around for a minute or two wondering if something went wrong and they were fixing it. The Admin said I was good to go and that he had buffed my character into an Ancient Praetorian. I figured it was similar to the Ancient Boiler buff, but their next message notified me that my claws would kill people instantly. At that point I concluded that this was to jump into a bunch of marines and take as many with me as I could. I eventually made it to the FOB and did just that, decapitating whoever I could come into contact with and eventually dying to an explosion I believe. I was lagging horribly, and wasn't sure if it was the server or my connection, freezing for 3 out of 4 seconds of game time, but even with that being the case it was still a blast.

I just wanted to let Staff know that they're doing a great job with their interactions, because if this has happened to me twice within the five or so days that I've played on the server I can safely assume that Admin involvement in a round is reasonably common leading to increased entertainment and fun. Which is appreciated by me, and many others.

As the Marine that eventually killed you with the rock...that round and fight was EXTREMELY INTENSE. I thought you had me when I was backed into a corner in the cafe.

But all the staff ever want is to see it's players have fun and I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we're glad you had a memorable round, because you made an extremely memorable round for everyone else.
