And everyone getting on board with the story.
The entire story if anyone is interested:
I started the game as Corporate Liason or as I like to call it Cylon Leader. Fast forward about 90 minutes where a whole mess of stuff happens including me being stupid. I offered to trade a fully loaded laptop to a marine in exchange for a loyalty implant on him but he refused and went and tattled to the MPs and CO. Somewhat metagaming here since he shouldn't know what loyalty implants are except they imply loyalty. At this point: I've loyalty implanted a survivor. The survivor was willing to take the implant because he was loyal to the Company but the MP and CO were getting suspicious.
With the help of the implanted survivor, Hober Mallow, I invited them to my office where I incapacitated them and injected the CO and an MP with implants. All was going well and I even got all access off the loyalty implanted CO... UNTIL the MP died and was revived and spilled the beans after he revived. On how I implanted the CO and him. So the CO, still being implanted, tells everyone to calm down and everything is fine while the XO, a BO and the MP have me arrested. I go in willingly to serve my time because implanted a CO is not really mutiny plus I have the CO in my pocket. I expected to serve time but instead the CO ends up to get 'semi-mutinied'. Some marines tried to force him to have the implant removed so they shot him up a bit to where he then hid in medbay. I don't know much about this because I was in the brig but apparently he was fighting with his commander's sword which I found to be hilarious.
So anyway, fast forward a bit. My jail setence is counting down from 20 minutes to about 5 minutes. No idea where the CO is but it'll probably take more than 5 minutes to get him revived and authorize an execution and I should've been safe because of double jeopardy, can't be tried for the same crime twice. What happens instead is the XO resets my sentence when it was about 4 minutes left out of 20 minutes back to 20 minutes which was bullshit. I spend another 10 minutes in the brig then he comes back and says he's gonna execute me for mutiny and terrorist collaborations which is also bullshit because I did nothing to mutiny and I work for the Company. I tell him that along with "only the CO can authorize executions" and he can't reset my sentence like that.
He doesn't listen and I get put in the solitary without a radio which is a marine law rule they broke. Until someone said in LOOC chat then I was allowed a radio. The CO comes back and authorizes my execution for treason which is a marine law that doesn't exist. During my execution, I was in a straight jacket but the survivor I implanted was disguised as a bravo squad marine and tried to save me but it failed (hilariously). I'm dragged back to the firing squad in briefing and wasn't given last words, another marine law that they broke.
Okay now this is where the fun part comes in. No admins were online at the moment so someone goes and grabs and admin for me. The admin came on and found that it was a wrongful execution but also notes that we still use the corporation law. Loyalty implants and implanting are also not against the law and they shouldn't have known about them so there was some metagaming. I didn't want the CO Grey Vil job banned or anything because he's a good guy, just didn't know so I ask for a PMC or Death Squad. Shortly after is where the screen shots come in. CO Grey Vil makes up the story that I fell down some stairs, stairs are executed and everyone goes along with it.
Eventually tactical lawyers or WY PMCs are called in.
The PMC squad or tact lawyers, instead of going in guns blazing decided to RP it out, which turned out to be quite fun. The CO leads us to the bridge and naturally we pass by briefing but it was SPOTLESS. The CLs body was gibbed but everything had been removed and everything cleaned. Only a single chair and a bottle of space cleaner was left in briefing. A PMC decided to comment that it looked like some sort of execution happened there.
At the bridge.
When the CO was confronted, he started making up a big story on where the CL went. First he fell down some stairs, then some ladders because stairs don't exist on the Sulaco and he was cremated. He wasn't cloned because his will stated that he wanted to be cremated and didn't want to be cloned. When asked for the will it was sent to his family and later he claimed that the will was cremated too (who in the right mind cremates a will?). So the PMCs starting questioning the CO about the story and he kept changing it several times. The questions started getting ridiculous to the point where it was assumed that CO and the CL had a homosexual relationship and the former was killed because of a lovers quarrel despite the CL having a family too.
Eventually the PMCs execute the CO and the XO and hold up in the bridge. Insisting, through priority messages that the marines keep fighting on the ground. Eventually they learn the truth from a Marine Engineer hostage that surrendered during the firefight in the bridge. The PMCs hold up in the bridge until the Xenomorphs attack and then its decided that the PMCs would head back to their pod. Spoilers: They don't make it but Marines and PMCs set aside their differences and fight the bigger threat. The Xenos.
Overall it was one of the funnest rounds I've had in a while so I wrote this story as remembrance. A lot of stuff did go poorly but in the end, I hope a lot of people found it fun.
