Tyler the survivor has always been partially robust, but this takes the cake. Using an alien mine to its fullest extent, he's racked up at least 7 kills: A queen, a crusher, a ravager, a runner, a hunter, a boiler and a drone. The drone was actually smart and used a tail attack, crippling Tyler for a bit and avenging six other deaths via a combination of mines and marines. You do NOT fuck with a welding mask Scot. I would have added a carrier to the roster of kills, but it ran like a bitch from me.

A brig cell containing a doctor mysteriously had the wall explode and suck him out. Later, while the MT was repairing it, this little event happened:

So i forgot to get pictures but to roughly describe one round i was in. Pretty much a normal start geared up and in briefing when Mother says the SM is outside of the brig, So Xiphos went to move it and he ended up dying and combined with the SM causing it to explode. And pretty much the Sulaco got filled with radiation and people were panicing, 40 russian reds later and we are planetside and the ayyliums built their nest in the cargo domes and the queen got obliterated by a SADAR and marines hunted down the rest of em. Ended up being roughly a 10-20 minute round or it could have been less.

So I played XO for the first time. We had a long campaign. 3 hours into the round, the Nexus is finally overrun, Aliens boarding the Sulaco and hanger is overrun. Upper decks are heavily fortified and its a stalemate. Aliens don't want to go up and Marines don't want to go down.

So as XO, I decide to lead the charge, set an example if you will. I don my armour, my WY 221 shotgun, grab the Commander's sword, a shoulder hostler and a VP70 pistol. I check all points of entry and medical seems the one most clear. I go down, shotgun in hand and as soon as I move past research I spot an elite spitter and he spots me. I give his face a nice round of buck shot and he goes down. Not long enough for a second serving of buck shot though. He immediately spits on me and I go down. He proceeds to smack my face around, good thing I brought a helmet! I get back up and whip out my sword and start smacking him too.

Now he's scared but we're both wounded. He panic spits all over the place but I dodge! I hit him some more and he tries to run. He's too fast!! And I'm wounded so I swap hands and whip out my pistol from my holster and start firing burst from the VP70. I'm missing my shots but luckily the last round of burst brings him down again. I move in, heavily injured, face bleeding, left hand bruised, right leg bleeding but I can't go to Valhalla until I finish the deed. I move closer, the elite spitter is still on the ground. He's scared, I can feel it. I raise my sword and cull the weak.

And that is how I killed an elite spitter by myself. Yeah not much of an accomplishment but it was hella fun.

In the end, I go back up and receive emergency surgery for brain damage, fragments in the brain and head fracture.

True story.

That's cool to see, but the problem is that once you get to elite, it's both hard to actually kill you, and if you're playing well it's easy to end the round well before you hit ancient.

In combat for T3, young to mature is the hardest to accomplish, mature to ancient gets steadily easier because your stats are better and marines start becoming afraid.

don't get the point of your post but whatever, by the time I got to ancient it was 6 xenos vs the Sulaco so it was easy as shite to die.
my point was to mainly show what happens when you get to ancient because it took me around 3 hours of an almost 5 hour round which happen rarely so people rarely get an ancient t3.

Ok heres mine, i dont got any screen shots or wahtever because I dont do that so I'll just tell the story.

I was elite hunter 895. As of writing this, the round is still just barely going on the planet. But our story is on the Sully. When us aliens got pushed back to the morgue, I cloaked myself and pounced on like 4 or 3 marines and killed them one by one. I couldnt even see my cloaked self. I was literally decapping marines in front of other marines. I killed like 5 people or more in 4 to 7 minutes or less. When we got pushed back to the morgue, i was unable to save the rav that got killed but i was able to decap the marine that did it. When the lower floor finally became safe. The mature praetorion put me to lead the assault on the upper floor. (By then, it was only me, the prae, and a carrier left on the sully) I rushed toward the bridge but found no one there basically. We were then cornered by some marines who brought a turret. We were able to push them back though and I entered medbay. That is where the sad part begins. The prae died and soon after the carrier did so i was all alone on the sully. In a suicidal rush i pounced on a marine and severely damaged them. But i shortly died after that. And there ends the story and life of elite hunter 895. And theres probably alot of me killing marines i forgot to mention.
