@Renomaki, Nope it didn't... That round even a researcher got banned for powergaming by using remote chem nades all around the hangar, insta killing about 15+ Xenos (only T2s and 3s survived) upon Rasputin arrival, and the entire 22 Xeno invasion force all died. After a few more hours, surviving Xenos on planet rebuilt and warded off Marine assault and got back up. Even then, it was an Alien Minor, with 4 surviving Marines vs 8 Xenos (6 were XRT).

Aliens rushed LZ2 last night and went to the sully, leaving charlie squad and some others at nexus fort. We were told by MOTHER to get on the pod for evac. Got on the pod, arrived at the sully, killed some aliens, and hopped on escape pod 1 with little to no time to spare. It was funny because the survivors of the first attack were wondering how we were still alive. Little do they know Fort Nexus took many alien lives. 10/10 marine victory.

Funnily enough, Xur, my SL at the time, thought I, his SADAR Spec, had died defending the Nexus, and felt genuine sadness at that fact. Even though I later told him that I had not died, and in fact managed to escape with my life with the others (although I never got to tell him how I managed to AP a rav to death, which made me a tad proud of myself), I still felt rather flattered that someone felt sad for me. Makes me feel like a special snowflake.
