I had 1 moment yesterday. When xenos were almost killed by marines, me (elite hunter), 2 elite spitters and 1 mature boiler killed almost 7 of them. And when we tried to kill 2nd SADAR spec I pouned at him and we tried to kill him. He got a SADAR in 1 sec and killed boiler.

Hugger removal round with three carriers early start and I was a combat medic.

I was panicing over and over on medical chat, screaming for a ground side doctor because I could already see three marines huggered in the space of three minutes early into the game, and knew without groundside medical we would be fucked.

Kyomi answers the call for help, and starts taking out parasites left and right to the point that she would finish a surgery every minute or so, even with a line of like two people waiting behind the person she is operating on. Alongside an extra doctor that came down later on, they were able to stop 9 out of 10 huggers from bursting.

One of the best medical moments id seen in quite a while, and most of my medical moments consisted of being hugged and dragged off into the dark during old hugger combat even when surrounded by my squad.

When I had an activated orbital beacon and went to click on a false wall to open it and ended up throwing the beacon on the same tile as me. A boiler instantly killed me less than five seconds later.

I was Queen for that round. And it wouldn't have been possible without the robust RP hive that we had going. Seriously, the xeno players that round were dedicated! After we took hydro, we went around flanked from cargo, then while our main forces were enaged in a prolonged nexus struggle, I asked for some volunteers for a xeno strike team to take the rasp. That's where shit got VERY INTERESTING!

While the marines were holding the LZ1 from the west side, two runners, a hunter, spitter, and crusher and I all went to the east flank of the rasp to assault. I lead the charge, and as soon I as boarded the rasp, the shutters came down! I thought I was doomed, as there were 4 hosts in the rasp fighting me all at the same time. But then suddenly help breaks through! The crusher broke the shutter from the east side, and the xeno strike team that was assembled slaughtered all the rasp's passengers. There was a funny byproduct from the resulting actions though.

All the shutters were STILL DOWN cockblocking all the marines from entering the rasp for EVAC. (at this point, the marines were trying to retreat and had all fallen back to east Nexus with two turrets) About a half a minute later, we hear the rasp's engines roar for liftoff, but we weren't able to get off in time. So our xeno strike force prepared to assault the sky hive with our few numbers, while most of the hive was fighting the marines at LZ1.

Upon initial landing there were half a dozen defenders who seemed surprised. During the battle, more and more reinforcements appeared, and soon the Rasp was getting swarmed with over a dozen marines spraying bullets everywhere. Our strike team suffered a few deaths, and we were in danger of being next. So after some dodging and quick maneuvering, I made it to the cockpit and sent the Rasp back down to the planet. It gave us time to recover and regain much needed plasma that we had lost in the hanger fight. At this point, our strike force had shrunk to be one hunter, spitter, and a crusher remaining. Not a high quantity, but definitely a good quality! Before we were about to land, all of us gathered at the cargo bay for a nasty surrpsie for the marines planetside.

And land we did. About a dozen marines tried to run up to the Rasp's hanger doors only to be greeted with a screech and the crushers stomp. We slaughtered half a dozen right there as they tried to fight their way on board to no avail. Within a minute LZ1 had completely fallen with all marines dead.

Then we went up to the sky hive with the entire hive, and quite a few of us perished on the frontlines, myself included. Out of all the strike team that remained, Hunter (697) was the last of us. While the rest of the hive killed the remaining survivors on the Sulaco, he delivered a nice little speech that made me tear up.

I was the Alpha SL that round, and my squad built the LZ stronghold. Great round, my only complaint is the guy who thought that a FLAMER could kill a ravager and burned me and my B18 armor into crit

Oh wow! I was that hunter! Didn't expect my usual lurking to come across this. I was really proud of that moment and got pretty invested, love me some RP. The surprise Rasp capture was amazing. Unfortunately I didn't see the egg-tac-toe game in person as I was at hydro, just heard chat being its usual salt about "Mother playing a game.". Anyways amazing Queening. (I love Queens with actual personality.)
