That was epic round just by now.

At the round start I joined as SO. No other officers woke up. No MPs woke up too. Okay. I decided to do no briefing because it sucks. I briefed SLs for their tasks. So, the operation began. Everything was really fine.
Xo woke up, but didnt do anything really useful. i still was overwatching all squads and giving them different tasks. Marines did really good, killing ayys like they were nothing. Other SOs woke up is quite short time. I could not give orders to whole platoon anymore.

And then bad times began. Marines were holding Tfort just fine, diminishing aliums numbers to mere 12. Delta SL asked for to get ready for OB, I was ready to press the button and he said "Fire". I didnt know that he said that to CAS. So bunch of marines got OBed. Shame on me. We decided to push the caves. I took charlie squad for that moment under my overwatch. I ordered them to move separately through western entrance for a light skirmish. In and Out. But charlies gathered up for charge too late. I didnt notice that, but that was it. They moved right to the rear of aliums forces but didnt manage to get any success and lost a lot of marines there. Charlie Sl, Anthony Jones promised that he would push his boot through my ass. I deserved that, yeah.

So, for now squads were staying at Tfort. I was going to deploy to the ground, because SLs were going for surgeries. While I was preparing there was a message that we got UPP spy on the board. I left that issue to other officers and went to the ground with my shotty. i went to Tfort just to look to the situation closer then from overwatch. There were some fights I helped marines with their wounds, helped killing aliums and kept an eye for situiation. Meanwhile, there were more screams at command chanel about UPPs forces setting Almayer ablaze. First, I thought, that they would make sieves out of UPPs with the almayer crew, MPs and some PMCs. But then command chanel went silent. That was NOT good. And Tfort was cut off from south by Ayyyys. There were not too much marines left at Tfort. I decided to order the evac.

Marines did not like that order so I moved solo. I didnt run through the shortest way to LZ because I knew, that I would be ambushed 100%. I ran through the west, then west of meddome, then south of nexus dome and finally arrived to LZ1. Dropship was already there. Some marines were there too. We waited for some time and went up.

I ran to CIC immediately to see ton of corpses and fight between marines and UPPS going on. With reinforcements from LV, marines crushed those UPPs. I armed myself with their pulse rifle because shotty loaded with buckshots was not too effective against UPPs. And so I entered CIC. Everyone was dead there. And console was broken. I ordered MT to reapir the console. Meanwhile, I ordered marines to clean up the corpses, rearm themselves and be tended by docs. That was a rare minute to talk about what happened with marines. MT had a long time to repair the console. And then, there was an alarm about another dropship hijack.

I ordered marines to hold medbay, myself waiting for CT at CIC. and then the dropship landed. it landed just east of CIC. CIC had the ladderway locked and I didnt realise that in time. Me and sniper got wrecked by ayyyyys.

Here ends the story of brave men and women.

Holy crap we made a mess that round. We didn't win sadly, persay... But we did beat the xenos down to a single hunter, who spent the round running out the clock, resulting in an alien minor.

I still view it as a personal victory, if only because we kicked so much ass and killed 5 queens in a single round. MORESO with handicaps!
